New to Subsonic

Hi All I am new to Subsonic Radio and forums. This looks like a Great site. I was wondering is there anything I should know other than in FAQ from you vets out there. I am tring to learn the points system as to request songs. Is this all that the points system is used for? Looking forward to hearing from ya'll and I must say it is good to find this site and hearing Disney Music these days as I live along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head! The points system is in place so that the request feature cannot be abused by any one person at any given time. The more you post here, the more points you'll recieve to request songs and tracks.

You seem like a pretty "with it" person, so just use your best judgement and welcome to the site.

just one word of advice... Make sure you search the forums before starting a new thread. Chances are, whatever you're going to post is already here somewhere.

I would also like to welcome you to the forum and SR. Hope to see you post. not sure how you like to listen (which player, IE, Winamp, ...) In my signature you will find 2 differant players I have created for the site just click the links below to check them out.

First thing is to check out the Forum Rules that way you know whats allowed on the forum.

Also any one of these people will be able to help you with any problems you may have. Clicking any of the names will take you to that users profile page, which you can use to send Private Messages (PM), EMail, or Instant Message (IM).

Thanks for the welcome, again I am loving this site it looks like a lot of fun. The music just takes you away to a place that makes you feel good, ya know having fun at all the parks.
