Test Track and no, she isn't on subsonic. But she does read some of the posts on here on my username sometimes.

Wow! Cool place to work :D I'm guessing she sometimes has to be speedy and run around and reset cars?

Oh wow that is really cool Madeye. Thanks for posting the picture of the new shirt. It really does look sharp in that orange, and being that it is close to the color they illuminate the Fountain of Nations at night, it really looks nice.

Only time the cars need to be "reset" is in the morning before it opens. Anything else is usually done by maintenance or whoever is in the control tower.

It does look nice doesn't it? The green version reminded me of the green shirts of some of the Brazilian tour groups. I'll let you know if the "patches" are the same material as the green one next time I'm there.

If you think about it, and can brave being close to Captain EO, could you take some pictures of the retro Figment shirts that are available? That is my Mom's favorite shirt from a trip many moons ago and she could use a "new retro" one :D Thanks!

I don't see why I would have to go to Imagination to see any Figment shirts. They sell them at MouseGear as well.

Well, I am planning on getting a shirt there so if I do see a "retro" Figgy shirt, I'll snap a shot or two.

A friend who was in EPCOT a couple weeks ago says the pavilion logos on the orange shirt look more distressed than on the green one. I still want it though, I hope it's still there when we go during Food & Wine.

As far as the changes to the FLE plans, and the state of the parks in general, I really think that the days when WDW's long-term welfare is sacrificed for short-term profits are drawing to a close. That strategy, after all, originated during a time when the economy was booming and people had more money to spend on a Disney vacation. These days, with stiffer competition from Universal Disney has to work harder to keep customers on-property for their entire stay. Right now, the Anaheim property is getting most of the attention, but I really believe that once Carsland is complete and DLR is in good shape, the executives will focus their attention on WDW.

I have to agree with you on the focus of attention. I do think that EPCOT is overdue for a lot of TLC.

At some point Disney is going to have to give something back to WDW. I just pray it's sooner then later! ;+>

Wouldn't that be the Fantasyland Expansion? There's a lot of things Disney needs to do but if they could do it all now you would be talking some major $$$. It's not just there. Not even in the capital markets to borrow from it. We're talking it's going to be loooooooong-term capital financing to get all that work done...

I would agree that the Fantasyland explansion is a step in the right direction. They probably will have to regroup after they finish out in California and see what else they can accomplish in Florida then.

I also agree that much love is needed in the WDW parks. I do think they have done some great touch up type stuff in MK and Epcot. Innoventions over the past year received some much needed updating to signage and color schemes, and I have just seen some recent pictures of Main Street and the buildings look incredible - they have that "pop" back in their appearance and can't wait to see it in November.

Now Pleaaaase move some focus onto DHS, that park is really in need of some TLC and overhaul!!! I used to really enjoy going to that park but lately it's starting to annoy me when walking around....
