You might check in the Innoventions building to try out a Segway. There was an area where you could take one for a spin with a cast member walking you through it, and walking right alongside with you. We did that last year, I don't know if they are still offering it, but it was fun to try out. It wasn't controlled the way I thought it would be and it took a few minutes to get a feel for it.Amy wrote:Thanks for the insight on the different Segway tours ~ I just need to see if Mom will be comfortable on them I guess. I wonder if the mall cops would be so kind as to let her take a spin?!

Re: Behind the Scenes Tours
I've taken the "Keys to the Kingdom" and the "Steam Train" tour ... both were great. The Steam train tour is only available early in the morning, as you go back to the roundhouse and learn how they start their day. The Keys tour is offered a few times in the day. But, again I toook the first early morning tour which I think is EXTRA special because you get to have the MK all to yourself for a little while as you learn all about how the MK is run plus you even get a "free" lunch on this tour, at least you did when I took it about 6 years ago.

I do think it would be sort of cool to go see where the trains "sleep" at nightdwellsbct wrote:I've taken the "Keys to the Kingdom" and the "Steam Train" tour ... both were great.
