Long overdue...

Post by subsonic » Oct Sun 02, 2005 2:17 pm

I finally had a weekend to myself AND I dedicated some time to adding tracks. Over 100 of them.

There's some scattered additions and some full sets. Here's some of the bigger additions.
WDW - Resorts - Animal Kingdom area music
WDW - 4 sets of Vacation Planner Video audio
WDW - EPCOT - Tapestry of Dreams
WDW - Downtown Disney - Cirque Du Soleil - La Nouba
DLR - California Adventure - Sunshine Plaza - Area Music

See this page for additional tracks.

glad to see them finally added. should be another vacation planner set to put up shortly, as soon as I can get the thing recording correctly. Also, I was looking through one of the folders, and think I've found some I missed on my first pass for new tracks. nothing huge, and probably about 10 - 20 tracks.

That's all of the resort stuff I have :(

JS: I still didn't get through them all. That was about 2-3 hours of work. Some were wmas. Had to convert those to .wav and then back to mp3. And those that were VBR I had to make 128k.

I'll be strange when I won't have any new content to add that I know is just sitting on my drive.

Thanks for the new music. I too would like to hear the Hall of Presidents that would be awesome. An attraction I sometimes forget about until I get to the parks. Great work.

Thanks Sub, for doing all this during your free weekend. I didn't even realize the DCA area music wasn't even in there.

What do you all think about the Cirque Du Soleil? I feel it doesn't fit and I might be removing it. It's not really Disney it's some show they outsource.

I personally wouldn't want to hear it and wouldn't mind at all if it was removed. Is it requested very often?

as discussed many times in various threads, the tracks on the site bring back memories of past trips to the parks. cirque du soleil is part of downtown disney at WDW, and as such, may have been included in someone's fond memories of a trip, even if it is outsourced. kinda like going into House of Blues or Planet Hollywood, nothing you can't get in another city somewhere else, but still part of the experience. I think they should stay due to that. But, as it is your site, and you decide what stays and goes, it's your choice...

If I hear them while listening and hate them I'll remove them.
