I just booked my Keys to the Kingdom Tour for January and can't wait. I already know about the garbage system since I was a CP in custodial there, but but I know it will blow my wife away! Since she has never experienced anything back stage I wanted her to have the experience as well. The very next morning we are taking the undiscovered Futureworld tour. Since I never worked at Epcot this will also be new to me! An that day will also exactly be on our anniversary!

That sounds like a great anniversary present to spend the day exploring behind the scenes! I hope you will have a chance to write a trip report and include your thoughts on the undiscovered Futureworld tour :D

I just realized that you will be going after I have been, but that is ok, I'll still look forward to reading your report though :D But I was hoping you were going first so I would know if it was a good tour...

Hi Amy, you are so right about deciding which tour. I am dying to do the Segway tour in Epcot. I'm also a go-go-go person when I'm there. No one can keep up with me. They all peter out in the afternoon/evening. I don't like to take time out for stuff like that. My kids wanted to do Kim Possible in Epcot, and I said no for that very reason. I didn't make any friends that day.

Are they still doing the Kim Possible thing in EPCOT? I don't know much about it but it sounds like it is sort of a scavenger hunt? I haven't seen Kim Possible (shocker to not many people here I'm sure) so would it still make sense to me if they are still doing it?

If you are a go go go type of person you will actually like Kim Possible. It keeps ya on your toes and you will see some hidden gems!!

So they are still doing it? How do I sign up and long does it take? Is it free or is there a fee?

One of the coolest aprts is I think you can do it in 8 different countries, basically you can almost spend an entire day just doing it. They give you a real cell phone to use and everything. My wife and I really thought it was neat!

We have done the Behind the Seeds tour, and both Segway Tours.
The B. the S. tour was very informative. You get to see the plants and processes more up close and personal, and you even get to sample some freshly grown produce, and you get to feed the fish. It's really a blast if you're into agriculture and nature in any way.
As for the Segway tours, I can't really decide which one I liked the best. They were both great in their own way. I've actually done the W.S. tour twice, and it's really cool to cruise all over the W.S. early before the park opens. Then by the time you're on your way back, they've started letting people into the park, and it's always cool to see people's reactions when you cruise by on the Segways: they stop and stare and wave and stuff, as if you're a celebrity of some kind.
The Off-road Segway Tour was great from a totally different perspective. You get to go all through the woods and trails around Fort Wilderness, and you get to see deer, the horse corrals, and all kinds of nature and critters. It's great, especially if you love nature.
I would highly recommend all of it! :D
By the way, as others have said, the Segways are not hard at all to conquer. The only ones I have ever seen who bailed out during the training were ones who had severe fear or motion-sickness issues. The machines themselves are actually pretty easy to get used to, and once you get the hang of it they respond almost as if they're directly linked to your brain waves. It's really cool!

Thanks for the insight on the different Segway tours ~ I just need to see if Mom will be comfortable on them I guess. I wonder if the mall cops would be so kind as to let her take a spin?!
