I don't like the speedway either. I don't drive in "real life" so my son thinks it is so funny to make me drive those stupid cars. And then he always says I am a bad driver!
I won't do Mission Space again. I tried the vomit bag version...do they still have the vomit bags? I almost needed mine. Then last year I tried the mild one and it was just kind of boring. I don't feel the need to do it again.

Thanks for the kind words about my mom. She's a trooper and she's really accepted and adjusting to her life the way it is now. The sad thing is for her disease, she was considered "old" to get it. Usually people in their 20's and 30's get it. They just don't know what triggered it in her?! That is the tricky part with auto-immune diseases. She was never sick a day in her life before this....just goes to show we should live and appreciate everyday!!! Thanks for the prayers! They are much appreciated!
I love my Subsonic family!

Best wishes to your mom.
I have an auto-immune disease too. I have Multiple Sclerosis. I don't know if hers is as unpredictable as mine. Mine is very frustrating as it is relapsing/remitting. I think I am relapsing right now and that is not cool! It is awful how your own body can just turn on you! Tell your mom to hang in there. Pixie dust wishes are headed her way!

Pixie Dust and cyber hugs to you jlpeaches! I'm familiar with MS, my aunt's sister has it. I think each auto-immune disease is awful in their own way. It's unreal how the body can attack itself. I hope you are not relapsing. Hang in there!jlpeaches255 wrote:boilerbabe wrote:Thanks for the kind words about my mom. As a family, we will never ride the Lilo and Stitch ride, again. I can't exactly put my finger on it but we all really didn't enjoy it. I think it has to do with 90 temps outside and some of the smells that are produced on that ride.

HISTA - unless I need to take a nap.
Stitch's Great Smell-fest - unless I'm daydreaming about being 6 or 7 years old
The Great Movie Ride - never, no how, no way
(OK, I haven't had my coffee yet, so I'm still cranky this morning)

I like the great movie ride but I think it could use an update.

Tower of Terror. I have a fear of lifts doing that for real and only use them when I really have to, its the stairs for me.

Ha I used to be like that about ToT as well. One of the reasons I never wanted to ride as a kid was the commercials when it first came out depicted it as though you boarded as you would a regular elevator (i.e. standing up, grouped) and then it'd drop that way. I felt like that seemed really unsafe and too similar to a real elevator doing that. But once I rode it and saw that it's NOTHING like a real elevator other than it's a box with cables that does go up and down it kind of dissolved that fear for me.Sleepy90 wrote:Tower of Terror. Have you ever tried ToT?
I used to be more afraid of elevators but once I started working in a high rise and elevators were a neccessity the fear went a way a bit as well. Though I still get a little uneasy when I ride up on one of those super fast express elevators to like the 60+ floor of buildings like the Prudential here in Boston. I suppose it's better than a slow ride up and down that shaft though.
By the way are you British? You used the term "lift" instead of elevator. It's usually a tell- along with petrol vs gas.

American Idol.... Why it's even there I have no clue. Bring back Superstar Television. There are tons of TV shows they could use!

1) It doesn't move so it isn't a "ride."rphillips14 wrote:As a family, we will never ride the Lilo and Stitch ride, again. I can't exactly put my finger on it but we all really didn't enjoy it. I think it has to do with 90 temps outside and some of the smells that are produced on that ride.

2) Lilo has nothing to do with SGE as it is before the movie(s). Many guests don't realize that and he wasn't called Stitch yet nor did he learn English... Hate the storyline.
3) Only one smell is in the attraction. I don't see why people hate it but the fact that a "guest" was able to sneak a chili dog into the attraction blows my mind. I don't even think MK sells chili dogs...
4) I HATE SGE. Bring back Alien Encounter!!!!!

NEVER again, American Idol! Did it once... it was painful. And never again The Backlot Tour (sorry to say), is a pathetic shell of what it once was.
