The Osborne lights! It was really cold, about 45 degrees.

I love watching people catching the "snow" on their tongues, and then seeing their expression when they get the taste of it  I wonder if those people think "real" snow tastes that soapy?!

The snow also sometimes has an odd smell (like mildew or throw up) IMO. I remember doing the Osborne lights & then going on Toy Story Mania and thinking, somebody got sick on this ride! only to realize later that it was just the snow on our clothes!

Yeah, it's just so dark all around it and all you can see is the mountain....extremely creepy. Also I am just generally creeped out by dark water (which all water is at night I guess!) so that adds to the creep factor for me in that photo.
I thought I was alone on that one...disneylizzy, I feel the same way toward dark water/water at night. I also agree that the EE pic ranks up there on the creep-o-meter for me too.

Everyone's pictures are great though!!! I love seeing everyone's photos!

I don't think its always there. For example, I did not notice it when we went to the Very Merry Christmas Party and there was snow on Main St. during that. I've smelled in at Osborne and also not smelled it. Perhaps it has to do with when/how frequently they cleaned the snow machine?

We must have had freshly cleaned snow machines last time we saw the Osborne Lights. Our snow didn't smell bad at all. But I still wouldn't want it in my mouth! Ewwwwww.....

Going back a little bit.... A.K. is fabulous at night! It's like being in a whole different world. Mouseoholic always makes it a special point to schedule a park hop there whenever the Extra Magic Hours are in the evening at A.K. We especially love the area behind Flame Tree BBQ because it's usually almost completely deserted and we can chill there without being disturbed. That's where I took these pictures (yeah, I know I've posted them before, but...)

Actually I have a better version of that last picture. This is the one I emailed to Subsonic and he said he liked it and would make it into a background for the site.... but he never did. :(
