Yep, Red Sox fan here! Moved up here 3 years ago, and it kinda gets into your blood once you are here 8) Took my boyfriend from California to Fenway Park, they were sold out but he wanted to see the infamous park just the same. We grabbed a bag of peanuts and watched the crowds, which can be almost as fun as the game!! ha ha

Less than two weeks left, and boy is it getting exciting. Fans of the Yankees, Red Sox, Indians, White Sox, Angels, and A's must all be biting their nails. I know I am. Regardless of which of those teams makes it to the World Series (hopefully the Yankees), it will be a great finish to the season for all.

PS Fans of that other league can probably enjoy it too. :P

The NL is DOOMED this year, for sure! I don't care which of the six AL contenders make it (what am I saying, of COURSE I do! Go A's!), but whomever they face from the NL is going to have one hell of a battle.

How about the NL West? San Diego could win the division with a record below 500. Has that ever happened before?

I'm sure it has at some point. Though, no, I can't think of when. What is mathematically impossible is for a Wild Card to be under .500...

Baseball is a fun sport, but I wouldn't consider myself a fan.

After last night's games, I wonder if anybody wants to win the AL East, Central, and Wild Card... especially my Yankees. :(

I am feeling better about my Yankees today, but with the way things have gone so far, I can't be very confident.

With the standings the way they are now, it does make for some interesting possibilities regarding the Wild Card. We could see New York and Boston playing a one game playoff in New York on Monday for the AL East. Then the loser of that game might have to go to Cleveland for another one game playoff for the Wild Card. It should be fun. :)
