Whoa why so critical on FDOT? Their roads are in WAY better shape than the roads in NYC. I know we get snow and they don't, but that still is no reason why Hylan Blvd should be filled with craters.

I guarantee they make a ton of $$$$$$$$$$$ with the tolls (both highways I take to get to and from MCO, Orlando International Airport, require tolls. DME and Disney Cruise Line buses use both too and we all know that is a lot of buses a day...) and their answer for most of the roads I use: patchwork that is gone within a week. Seriously, aside from the highways, Orange County, Florida needs to overhaul most of the roads not in the tourist areas of the county!!!

Most tolls tend to be pledged revenues towards debt service on bonds issued to fund the original construction. The idea is bonds are issued first, construction is done, and the tolls pay off the principal and interest on those bonds. So you may have tolls, but they tend to paying on road construction already done, not financing current or future construction. When the banks had the colossal financial meltdown, the credit markets went down with them. It is more difficult now to issue bonds than it had been in the past because credit is not as widely available as before, so construction - such as road construction, building construction, etc. - has slowed down. Credit markets have been recovering, so hopefully we should see a recovery in the construction side as well.

Too much info?

Whatever. Like I said, they make enough with the tolls and prepaid passes that they could allocate a fraction of it and it would help update numerous roads in the county!

Yup! I've told y'all about the sheltered life I live...not exaggerating...it was a hoot :D But I would have loved some Disney songs! Although the rock songs were fun to hear again since I haven't heard them in a loooooooong time (and some of them not at all  I know you're shocked by that?!  )

For the PlayStation 2. I think we played all the songs that had been unlocked by their 12 year old since he got it earlier in the week, and that would be quite a few! I was fine when the "notes" were logically connected to the music, but sometimes it just seemed random ~ sorta confusing for this old musician. Totally fun though. I really would think it would be awesome to have a Disney version available though

How are the Beatles and WDW related? I know Len has talked about buying Beatles shirts there. What is going over my head now?!?!
I know I would do better with Beatles songs...or Star Wars songs...or at least I wouldn't have Barracuda stuck in my head this morning

They also play The Beatles' Octopus's Garden at Pizzafari. Just to throw that out there.
