...drink... cry.... drink... cry....

Just kidding! I'm somewhere between Len and Amy on the "getting back to reality scale." Usually, the first thing I do though is curse myself for not taking an extra vacation day to recover before going back to work.

If I take a vacation away from the house, I have to take one extra vacation day when I get back. The cat demands it. I've got a lot of work to make up for those day while I was gone. :D :o

It is nice to have a transition day between vacation and work, but if I have an extra day, I'm going to spend it on vacation, not at home!

This year I'm lucky, I get two days between vacation and work and I'm not talking about the weekend. We get back from vacation two days before election day, which I get off anyways! And one of those days, I'll be completely alone in the house. Of course that means I'll be on this board probably crying my eyes out saying 'Why did I have to come back?'

The obvious answer would be to listen to Subsonic Radio. :) But I listen to the Inside the Magic podcast, and the Disney music I have on my HD, and read the travel guide I get for Disney every year.

That is the worst thing to do. We always make sure that the vacation allows for a day between traveling home and the dreaded return to work. It helps to give you a day to catch up on some rest and lets the legs recover a bit.

If you ever find yourself without the bumper day at the end of the vacation, you can just have Mark carry you around on the last day...that will give your legs a rest!

Yep. I already told Mouseoholic that this time we're taking that extra day off to relax at home, unpack, etc.

Does anyone stock up on candy and non perishable food to make the transition back to home food easier?
