Some trailers come with the films but it is up to the theatre chain and local theatre management as to what gets shown.

That's interesting, I had no idea that's how it worked!

I didn't get to see the trailer since I saw Toy Story in 2D instead of 3D but I will search for it on Youtube.

I saw TS3 in 3D, yet didn't see Voyage of the Dawn Treader either....you're not alone.elizabethswann wrote:I didn't get to see the trailer since I saw Toy Story in 2D instead of 3D but I will search for it on Youtube.

Interesting...no, I didn't get the trailer before Toy Story.
It looks like they're following up pretty well (Disney should have stuck with the series, Caspian didn't even make a great book). I was surprised to see the White Witch, Peter and Susan in the trailer, though. I certainly don't recall them being featured in the book. Dawn Treader was a favorite for me, so hopefully this one's a winner!

Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Treader is a good book...but LW&tW was my favorite, followed by The Magician's Nephew and The Last Battle. (heck, they were all good, but Caspian was my least favorite too)Esmeralda wrote:Interesting...no, I didn't get the trailer before Toy Story.

Since the books were re-released in the order that CS Lewis intended them to be, I'd love to see the movies released in that order. As a child, the order they were released in was: Lion,Witch & the Wardrobe; Prince Caspian; Voyage of the Dawn Treader; The Silver Chair; The Horse and His Boy; The Magician's Nephew and The Last Battle.
Now, the series starts with The Magician's Nephew, with LW&tW second and of course Last Battle seventh. (I don't remember much of the "new" order)

The Horse and His Boy is between LW&tW and Caspian.MmeLeota wrote:Treader is a good book...but LW&tW was my favorite, followed by The Magician's Nephew and The Last Battle. Wow, I know I read all of these books as a child and thoroughly enjoyed them but I don't remember much about them except the LW&tW story. I started to watch that movie on tv but just couldn't get into it. I'm thinking that some of my favorite stories as a youngen remain better as imagined in my head and not on the big screen?!

I just saw this trailer the other day on t.v. I think it looks pretty good!!! Although, DH and I will probably say we're going to see it and never make it to the theatre like we do with almost every movie we want to see!

Ok, kinda freaky here....*cue Twilight Zone music*Amy wrote:I do that too! C40 and I do the EXACT same thing!!! It's so bad that even when it's on TV (HBO, Starz, or even cable/syndication) we look at the title and say "didn't we want to see that?" Then MAYBE we'll actually see it...if it isn't half over already.

We can't, we're saving our pennies to go visit Mickeymindflipper wrote:C'mon, guys, you gotta get out! See a movie! Go with family! Go with friends! Eat dinner! Have fun! Live it up!

That Inception (?) movie does look kind of like an interesting intellectual challenge though, maybe at the cheap theater...
