I've heard that it was removed from both parks due to safety issues that would cost too much to bring up to compliance...

I've heard that it was removed from both parks due to safety issues that would cost too much to bring up to compliance...
Also for the safety of those below, as many riders were throwing things of the buckets and down onto park guests below...

From what I've heard from Disney techs in the know, is that is was all about the cost of upkeep! There weren't really any safety concerns, but there were pocketbook concerns.

Hmmm, never heard about financial concerns for either the Skyway buckets or 20K subs. Makes sense though...
