Disneylizzy...I really liked the blurry castle picture. It had a "Haunted Mansion" vibe to it...with ethereal musical notes to boot!

I always look at my blurry pics because you never know what you might end up with. Sometimes the accidental pictures are the best!

MmeLeota: when do we get some of your pics from your recent trip? Maybe even a trip report?

Awesome. Thanks for answering. SSE does look amazing with the lights on. I honestly think it might actually even light up nicer than Cinderella Castle.Mousekedude wrote:Thanks, all! Yes, Len, that's exactly where it was!

Thank you very much, Elizabeth! It really is one of my favorites, and makes an awesome desktop background on my computer. Especially at work, where I have a 21" monitor. Way cool!

Mousektdude that SSE photo is amazing. Do you remember what time of day you took that photo? I'm just curious about the lighting.

It was after Illuminations on our way out of the park, so I guess somewhere going on 10:00 p.m. So obviously it was artificial lighting. I loved how they did it, though. The sources were pretty well hidden so that it almost looked like the light was coming from within SSE itself.

I've been working on the text portion of the report...trying to go day by day (unfortunately, I'm still trying to get through the first daymindflipper wrote:MmeLeota: when do we get some of your pics from your recent trip? Maybe even a trip report?![]()
My writing is nowhere near as exciting as Mindflipper's or "Mao's" but I'll try.
BTW Mao - those are some great pictures!
That's part of the reason why I try not to be so quick about deleting blurry pics until I see them on "the big screen". So many times I think a picture looks horrible on the camera screen, but when I view it on the computer screen it looks cool...and that works the other way around too. Some pics look good on the camera but terrible on the computer!disneylizzy wrote:Thanks, I have LOTS of blurry ones!MmeLeota wrote:Disneylizzy...I really liked the blurry castle picture. I think SSE is one of the most beautiful sights in the parks at night. I have a photo similar to yours but from further away, almost back to the entrance, and before they put up the tombstones...err, monuments. I'll have to scrounge and find it to share...Mousekedude wrote:It was after Illuminations on our way out of the park, so I guess somewhere going on 10:00 p.m. So obviously it was artificial lighting.
