I have changed my mind and have snapped back to my own house...thunderstorm, pouring rain and a quick peek of sun resulted in a beautiful rainbow that stretched from one side of our yard to the other side, no more than 15 feet off the ground. I've never seen anything like it! I actually could have looked on both sides of the rainbow for the gold but I didn't want to get wet...silly me
EDIT: Ok, it only lasted a minute or so...back to the Carousel of Progess...

Two men were issued warnings today by Orange County Sherriff’s deputies in Epcot, Walt Disney World, for creating a disturbance that could have led to serious consequences. Sergeant Gunn Toten of the O.C.S.D. explains:
“Yeah, apparently it started out as a friendly game of darts that turned into what witnesses thought was an altercation. These two guys were exchanging typical banter between guys... you know, the way guys rib each other when they’re goofing around, when suddenly this one guy, I think he called himself ‘Jacka,’ or ‘Jackie....’ something like that.... anyway he bent over to pick something up and this other guy... called himself ‘Mao Skaydute’ or something like that... anyway this Mao guy throws a dart at this Jacka guy and sticks it in his tush, then runs out laughing like a maniac.”
Witnesses on the scene confirm that the man with the dart in his bottom chased the other man around the World Showcase until the two were lost from sight. Concerned that someone might get hurt, bystanders called 911 and Sherrif’s Deputies were dispatched to the scene. The two men were later found sipping Tequila together at the Mexico Pavillion, where they were issued warnings. Sergeant Toten continues:
“Well, apparently it was all part of some elaborate practical joke these guys planned out together. This Jacka guy had a special pad in his pants so the dart wouldn’t actually reach his skin, and they did the whole thing so they could brag about it on some website they both hang out on. Called themselves some kind of “marauders” or something. Since no one was really hurt, we couldn’t really arrest them or anything, but we did warn them to watch themselves. Crazy fools could have hurt somebody. I tell ya, it’s getting to where even Disney isn’t safe from this kind of hooligans.”
The two men involved were last seen walking together and laughing about the incident. Neither was available for comment.
I hope the CATASTROPHE trip report was the inspriation behind this! It was a great and funny short story. Great job, Mao!

It certainly was, and thank you!
As for the story itself, I thought the little things I did with the names would be pretty funny, and hoped they wouldn't be too subtle for people to catch on. It was pretty obvious who "Jackie/Jacka" and "Mao Skaydute" were supposed to be, which I meant as a clever commentary on how sometimes news reporters or others being quoted in a news story don't get the names right. But in particular I thought Sergeant "Gunn Toten" was pretty funny, but no one commented on that.... :(

My friend made a delivery to someone today whose honest to goodness name was Tuff Tiddles, or at least that was the name he signed on the check  Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction :D

And the movie is NOT Hannah Montana (the last two trips, we've tried to go to the campfire, which the kids love, but both times HM was the movie playing. Yuck.)

For my family, we'd want a double feature: Dumbo and Monsters Inc.

Great "story", Mousekedude. :)

My ex-college roommate is a principal, but when he was a teacher he had twins in his class with the first names Lemonjello (la-MON-jue-lo) and Orangejello (oh-RUNGE-jue-lo). The names were pronouned slightly different from the spelling...

There should be laws on the books that would give jail time to parents who do this to their children.

I almost fell off of my chair laughing mindflipper! You wonder sometimes where these parents get their inspiration...in this case, perhaps too many jello shots?
My nephew has a conventional name with an unconventional spelling...my brother isn't the best speller and he put the name on the birth certificate while my sister-in-law was still under the effects of anesthesia from the c-section. The worst part is that they had debated the spelling ahead of time. She forgave him but it took awhile
