The national treasure series has so many different ride possibilitys. It would be cool to have an E ticket based on sequences in the movie.

Hmmmmmm, given how there's a third one in the works it surprises this idea hasn't happened yet. And Nick Cage is desperate for some cash flow, so he should be agreeable to film the little bits for it as well. Could do a half ride/half coaster thing like Universal did with the Mummy.
That would be an interesting addition :D

The hat! It's got to go. Fine if people really like it and want it to stay, then just move it. But they need to open up that area again back to it's original view.

OK--I have a confession...I never really minded the hat UNTIL...
I saw before and after pictures on http://www.yesterland.com/removehat.html.
***(Warning: That link is not for the meek--you will be disgusted when you see those pictures!)***

Maybe because I only ever remember the hat being there and didn't realize how crappy it is??
Not to worry--I am a full fledged convert now--I hate the hat also!

Wow, thanks for the hat link. I didnt remember how it looked without the hat, I had only been there once pre-hat.

I have to say, I am NOW a removed the hat person. It looks so cool WITHOUT the hat!

What's amazing is to see the REAL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. The one in the Studios is nearly identical...and it's very weird how well they were able to copy it. The one in the Studios is much, much cleaner though.

The hat was really cool when they were building it...because it was part of the 100 years thing with Walt's birthday. But, like the wand, it wore out its welcome. Unlike the wand it is still there though.

For those who haven't seen it, someone should find an arial shot over the park before the hat was built, the whole layout of that part of the park was a hidden Mickey with the chinese theater as his mouth, the flower beds as his nose and eyes and even the lake as one if his ears.

missynole wrote:Oops I forgot...the Backlot Studio Tour could use some serious remodeling. The house of the Golden Girls and Empty Nest??? Come on...again, I know Disney could refurb it with fresh and new studio sets. The water part at the beginning could be changed, too. I know several people like the backlot tour but it really needs help. :figment:
Backlot tour is no longer running. So hopefully they are updating that area/attraction with something new....perhaps more Pixar things.

There is just so much in the studios that is tired. I can't believe that Narnia Prince Caspian was called an attraction when it was really just a big movie preview!

Do they not do the fireworks there anymore, or are they simply obscured by the hated hat?
