Wow, that was a pretty big "window" Amy! Three weeks would be pretty hard to do. But just make sure that y'all book a slot that includes December 4th. That's the night of the Dole Whip meet-up at the Poly.
So you're self employed, eh? Been there, done that. Not much fun most of the time, because I was in construction. It was always feast or famine, no stability. What do you do?

I am a piano teacher...so...mostly famine

but I do have a fairly stable income...summer is tough though, lots of people on vacation. I do like being my own boss though

After college I spent a few years in an office and about then about eight years at the fire department, so I much prefer setting my own schedule...btw, my picture is now available for viewing over in the "Captain EO" thread

Cool! Mouseoholic was a piano teacher for years, but got burned out on it. I hope you continue doing well with it.

Been teaching since I was 16, there are definitely days

but this is not the economy to be messing around with employment quite yet...

This is going to be difficult for me....I will be on Disney property but not going to the parks, with the exception of maybe one day?! My mom and I are going to visit a dear friend of mine and her little boy. They live in Winter Garden and she just got hired by Disney! My mom would be more comfortable staying in a hotel/resort. And we thought where better to stay than Disney?!?! So, we will be staying at a moderate resort 10/28-10/31. I'm sure we will visit at least one park, but the main purpose of our visit is to see them. The only reason I am able to handle this and DH is able to tolerate this is b/c we are scheming to return in Dec. for a full blown Disney vacation!!!!

Just the thought of being on Disney property makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! I told my mom that she may wake up one morning to find me gone!!!!! Maybe I'll just hop on one of the buses and hide the parks!

Ummm, can't you visit while in the parks? You said she has a little boy...I'm thinking he would appreciate going, although maybe she doesn't want to spend the money on tickets and all if she is going to be working there and will have free passes...either way...enjoy! I'm sure you'll sneak in a DW or too

We might go to a park one day but our main purpose of the trip is to spend time with them, they wanted to do other things with us besides Disney. I know she gets free tix by being a Disney employee but I'm not sure how many and how that works?! I will hold it together as long as I know DH and I will be returning in Dec!

The DW is going to be cheating on me with the mouse.

I can handle it, he has more money than I do and possibly better looking so I am doing my best to understand. All kidding aside, I am glad DW will be spending sometime at the World with her mom

Just going to feel weird that I am at home and she is at the WDW without me

Well, it just makes me more motivated to get back to the mouse in December...For THE DOLE WHIP MEETUP!!!
