I was in MK for New Year 1999-2000. I can confirm that Disney does put on a special display of fireworks for special occasions. :)

I'm sure I've posted this somewhere else in a Sub forum..

These are using my new Canon SX210.

This one was at night but I left the shutter open for 15 sec:

very nice horizons1. Love the Imagination fountain! Did you use a tripod or did you set the camera on something for the long exposures?

Thanks everyone - I am just experimenting with my camera and I have to say I was inspired by the pics in this forum to try some new techniques. The castle pic was totally random, which I think is the best way to take good pics. I was walking from Liberty Square around the back of the castle when I looked up and thought "this is a rarely photographed angle."

I just set it down on one of the little 4' light posts. Worked pretty well, although the tops of those metal posts get hot.

LOL, Joe. This is my first time posting this pic but I think this is probably a standard shot for nighttime photography in Epcot. One thing I like is the lighting on the pavilion behind the fountain - I wish I could've gotten more of that into the shot.

Great photos Joe, NaCler, and Horizons...I loved them all! I especially liked the liberty belle photo, the teacups, and well...all the fireworks photos. It's really nice when you can catch the water without a ripple when taking photos at night of the belle! I've only had that happen once and it makes for a really nice photo.
