Though I have heard if anyone is lucky enough to be able to see AK at night it's beautiful!
I'm hoping that we will be able to take on a challenge "cousininmiami-style". It sounds great and would be the perfect precursor to a day of down time!

I would totally take the "cousininmiami-style" challenge. But I wouldn't be able to do the day of down-time the next day. So little to see, so much time...strike that, reverse it

(Sorry, that is one of my favorite Willy Wonka quotes...)

We were very disappointed after IllumiNations last year that the World Showcase was basically completely shut down. Couldn't get a snack or drink at all. At MK after Wishes, they have shops open so you can mosey on out after the rush has pushed through.
AK isn't open very late in August, when we go, but that park is so empty late in the day, we just love it! It almost feels like we shouldn't even be there!
As for the morning, can't beat the Welcome song at MK...
Thanks,
Doc

With this group that is absolutely a spot-on quote! Although wherever we end up you know it will be fun

Hard one. I'm split.
Epcot AM/MK PM and vice versa.
And I'll echo the comments about when there's an EMH
"Finally, from the depths of the Dark Ages came the Age of Enlightenment - the Renaissance.
And with this era, came a powerful new invention - BwanaBob."

Morning Animal Kingdom, can get a lot of stuff done, especially if you really go early
Night Magic Kingdom, playing in the parks till the late hours is always fun, especially on extra magic hour nights

Leblanan, I agree with you about the parks. Epcot is a midday park for me. Mornings are great at AK, and nothing beats a late night at MK, jmho.

Definately agree with MK in the morning for nostalgia sake. I have super8 film of my first trip to Disney World (1973) and how hotel guests (only 2 hotels then!) were allowed in early but only to Main Street. THere was a rope that stretched accross the road in front of the bridge and you couldn't go past it untill the park officially opened. It was wonderful having breakfast at the Crystal Palace then heading off to adventure. Now that I am older, I would actually say EPCOT in the morning and MK at night (depending on hours)

I would say MK in the morning and Epcot at night but after reading everyone's comments I think I should spend more time at MK later at night.

I love the Opening at TMK. That would be one of my favorite songs...
I love the lights at HS at night-walking down the street toward Tower of Terror is truly wonderful in those lights.
There's something wonderful about AK in the morning-the trees, the sun, the animals
Epcot has a wonderful glow at night with all the lighting too.
OK I enjoy them all, day or night
