One of these days I'd love to just relax on the gondolas and enjoy a nice serenade.

Nice set of pics mouskedude. :)
I always like to see people go for the unusual angle shots, gives me ideas for next trip. ;)
The colors look great. Pointing the camera up does seem to make the sky a deeper blue.

You get the front I'll sneak around the side.

Next from me Kilimanjaro................hey shouldn't I be in that truck?

I take hundreds and thousands of shots. I delete half of them straight away. Then take hundreds and thousands more :)
When I get home I sift through them. One or two must turn out to be pretty good (law of averages).
Thousands of digital images litter the virtual cutting room floor. ;)
I took 55 images of PO Riverside, only one was good, a couple were OK, the rest are virtual floor fodder.
Thank goodness for digital cameras and long life batteries, no way I could have afforded to do this with film.

These are some real great photos, Joe. Do you have a Flickr or any other photo storing account?

You take the shot!! You use the same method every pro photographer uses! You take wonderful pictures!! (I do the same thing and they don't come out as good!))

I have an ImageShack account. I only use it to store pics before I post them in forums.
All my "Where in the World?" pics (and Sleepy90s "Where in the World?" pics) and such.
I don't keep an account with all my pics.

If anyone ever wants the full uncropped, unreduced image PM me with which one.
I reserve no rights on the copying or use of my images except that they cannot be used to portray WDW in a negative or defamatory way.
And if you earn vast sums of money when using them, I want a cut ;)

Persistence is not futile.

The thing that made the biggest difference to my pics was leaning to hold the camera steady and learning (from artists) what sort of things make some pics good. Limited colours. loads of colours, odd or unusual angles, perspective lines, disappearance points and what they term anticipation points. Whats around that corner? through that door?, up there? etc. Your brain does this stuff SUBconciously :mickey: The imagineers at Disney know all this stuff and set the whole park out using the same principles. It makes taking pics of it much easier. Most importantly, take pics of the stuff YOU like in the parks. Look at the scene and ask yourself "What is it about this that I like?" then take a pic of that. I guarantee other people will like it as well.

Gonna stop here before I write a short novel.

Interesting tips Joe...I agree persistence is key. And digital technology makes it so much easier. Shoot a whole bunch, delete what you don't like, and usually you find a few gems amongst the virtual cutting room fodder as you say ;)

I agree completely with Joe. Everything he said is exactly the way I do it too. I've always had a knack for photography, and if you can believe all my shots were taken with a cheesy old 5 m.p. Sony digital with very few special features, then you can just imagine what I could do with some professional equipment! Sorry, that sounds like bragging. I don't mean it that way, but I can't think of any other way to explain it. So let's just go back to everything Joe said, and add my "ditto..."
