I always drink bottled water if I can possibly help it. Dasani, preferably....
I know, there's a whole gaggle of folks out there who will shout me down about how "it's no better than tap water...", yadda, yadda....
But I can definitely taste the difference. I don't even like some bottled waters because they taste like tap water!
Me too...there are some bottled waters that don't taste right. Just like some tap water tastes ok and others taste like medicine cabinets. :? eww. But for some reason, Blue Bayou has really good water!
Maybe Blue Bayou actually has to have a really good industrial-strength water filter since it is located so near the water of POTC?

Wow. After reading these posts, I would have thought the 'Monorail Funk' was going to be the big one.

Main street.
The smell of apple pie and cookies fuming from every corner.
The aroma of hot dogs walking by casey's corner.
Heck!
Even the smell of the disney air!

Main Street U.S.A. - my favorite smell in the world<3

I know it's odd, but I like the smell when I first enter my resort (we usually stay at Pop Century). It signals to me that I'm finally on vacation and can rest and have fun. Whenever I happen upon that same smell elsewhere in the world, it takes me back to vacation.

I can be in a parking lot at home and have a Disney moment from the smell of heat, blacktop, and sand. It just reminds me of being at WDW.

Oh yes, I think the resort smells the best for the first ten minutes upon arrival. It smells good all of the time, but not quite as spectacular as those first moments. Especally akl for me :)

I love the smell of Flame Tree BBQ when i'm at AK. But here's a strange one... I ran out of shaving cream on my trip a few years ago and bought a different kind than usual. I still use that kind, and every time I shave it brings me back to WDW. Strange how scents can do that!
Thanks,
Doc

Evidently that was the best purchase you could have made ~ shaving cream is a relatively inexpensive way to relive your vacation memories :D

You could...but that would maybe prevent you from buying a cooler souvenir :(
No, that purchase was a fortunate necessity :D

Been a long time since I've been to WDW in the summer - can anyone tell me if one of the "Disney Smells" that they detect is the sweaty odor of other tourists perspiring heavily in all that heat and humidity?
