Re: Going Back for Some More...
Hey boilerdude, I have heard a lot of good things about you. Very excited to see you online again. This summer is a bit messed up (because of me). I finished classes on May 7, but had to study for a big exam afterwards. I took the exam last Friday and am now off until July 6. I kind of gave my family a very small window this year. Our only option was the last week of June/first week of July. Next year, it may have to be a different time depending on my schedule (which I do not fully know yet).
mindflipper, We have been traveling on or around July 4 for the past few years. Overall, it has been hassle free in Newark and Orlando Airport. While Newark airport is kind of grungy, our departing flights are usually on time and the gates are consistent. Last year, they moved our gate from 71 to 73, which was not big deal. Baggage claim in Newark is another story though. It can take an hour to get all your bags. Orlando baggage claim is lightning quick. We usually fly Continental or JetBlue.

Re: Going Back for Some More...
Quick question to run by all of you. IF we were to see Fantasmic this year, do you think the best option would be to hang out for the one night when they run the 10:30 show. I honestly like the show, but hate the long walk and the insanely large crowds that you have to put up with for it. I am thinking the crowds must be worse considering how the show has been cut from twice nightly to once every other night. We have seen it multiple times and skipping it is starting to seem like a good idea.

Always, always, always opt for the second viewing of any entertainment offering of the night. Sure the crowds are up there but it will be a lot better than the first show! Think of it this way, with Fantasmic!, you don't have to wait an hour and a half for the second show like all those people leaving the park while you are waiting to get in (they will even have waited longer just to get in and sit for an hour and a half for the first show to start...)Len90 wrote:Quick question to run by all of you. Some parent won't keep their little kids up that late, they will go for the first show and leave the park afterwards. It does thin the park out a bit. I agree with MadEye about opting for the second show.Len90 wrote:Quick question to run by all of you. Now if only I could somehow opt instead to see Disneyland's Fantasmic! instead, that's a different story (I would love to see Murphy...)

Have a great trip Len & Mark. Don't get into too much TROUBLE!
Len, you don't want to wake up in the trunk of the rental car again like last trip! haha...
Mark, make sure you request the "Wheels on the Bus" song for Len at the Prime Time Cafe... and make sure you get it on tape!

Yup, I agree with the others, later showings are always the best option...less crowds, definitely less screaming children propped up on parent's shoulders. You should go see it if you aren't too pooped by that evening ~ and you are what, like 20 years old?! I think you'll be okLen90 wrote:Quick question to run by all of you. No concern about the time and age. That was what I was thinking.
As for the "Wheels on the Bus" I'll have to look into it. Remember you not only have to sing, but you have to perform the choreography!

Hey Len I'm gonna be there around the same time, July 2nd through July 10th! Where are you going to watch 4th of July fireworks? We are planning (I think), to brave Magic Kingdom! Should be fun!
