Oh, sure, but QuickGold's "Ah, gotcha

" contributed to the conversation? I understand that the "usefulness" of a post is up to the discretion of the moderators, but lighten up.

You were clarifying something for me and I responded to that. Your post added nothing to the conversation, that is the difference. If you have a problem with the rules, please PM subsonic and I'm sure he can address it for you.

I disagree. Sub had tried to clarify something I had said previously, and that you misunderstood. I was confirming that. I don't see the difference and I think that the "doesn't add to the convo" rule is pretty vague and not necessarily fair to the users, especially if it's being applied in a case like this.
I'm not trying to get in a fight or anything, but I am a good member here and don't post meaningless crap. I simply feel like my actions are under attack, and unfairly so. It does appear it's simply a difference of opinion, but when opinion can result in actual consequences, then no difference is insignificant.

I do believe I have to say Sorry. I think we see the rules know the rules try to follow the rules but we do once in awhile break the rules. Sorry for making a comment that I did we all need to look at the rules one more time to remind us that it can happen and watch out for it. I personally have gone back to my post and changed it to reflect what I was really trying to say. Thanks to everyone for understanding and hope we can put this all behind us for now.

I know we all want to enforce rules here. Forum content should remain insightful and interesting. But, I believe that short posts are okay when a user has established themself. Usuaully if a person has over 100 posts they aren't posting to get points. They've put in their time.

I think we're all one big happy family... families have plenty of disagreements. It's all good.
(anyone notice how there was no real flamewar/disrespectful stuff? a rarity on the internets)
