I already don't like the name change, I hope they don't change the entire carousel.

The way everything else is going it might become the Pixar-go-round!boilerbabe wrote:I already don't like the name change, I hope they don't change the entire carousel.

I would change the TTA spiel back to the way it was before its minor rehab last year. From what I've heard, "Paging Mr. Morrow. Mr. Tom Morrow" is back and so is the music inside Space Mountain. I'll be going to MK tonight for MSEP and the new Fireworks and will make it a point to ride TTA to see if it is true and let you all know.

We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

The story is now based on jousting so it will be some sort of a dueling carousel. But if they are building a dueling carousel then they will make it extra special like nothing else. They are sparing no expense in California on the updates and new lands, reason to believe wdw will get nothing but the best in new construction also.

Ummm, I know I have read in more than one place that TDA (Team Disney Anaheim) out in Cali is a little more generous with their budget than the folks in Florida...soooo, I wouldn't count on WDW getting the best...never hurts to hope though I guess!northernmousefan2007 wrote:The story is now based on jousting so it will be some sort of a dueling carousel. Amy - Yeah, I 2nd that. From everything I have heard about TDO (Orlando), they don't really care as the $$ will keep coming in from the tourists. TDA has to cater to the locals that go several times a year and don't mind updating things.

Re: What would you change in the Magic Kingdom?
That a really good explanation NaCler ~ I've only read that TDA is freer with money, and not necessarily the reason behind it, so that makes sense! Sad, but it does seem accurate...NaCler wrote:Amy - Yeah, I 2nd that. From everything I have heard about TDO (Orlando), they don't really care as the $$ will keep coming in from the tourists. Amy, you can thank MadEye... that information basically came from what I have read from him. I can't take the credit, sorry.

If they really could splurge and spend $$$ on the carousel, why not a two-story carousel like they have in the Arabian Coast at Tokyo DisneySea?Amy wrote:Ummm, I know I have read in more than one place that TDA (Team Disney Anaheim) out in Cali is a little more generous with their budget than the folks in Florida...soooo, I wouldn't count on WDW getting the best...never hurts to hope though I guess!northernmousefan2007 wrote:The story is now based on jousting so it will be some sort of a dueling carousel. Re: What would you change in the Magic Kingdom?
So I rode TTA yesterday and Mr. Morrow is indeed back. It is not by Carousel of Progress but in Space Mountain and isn't about anything with Saturn or rings and the music is on in the tunnel in Space Mountain but it isn't Star Tunnel (at least when I wen't through it). It was bad...
