Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

I wanted to share a funny story from today with you.
It all started with a question from a new co-worker.
She asked me what kind of music I listen to. I said mostly Disney and sometimes classic rock. She said "Really? Disney music? I thought this Disney thing was just a hobby for you but now I am starting to worry." I said that when I worked at the Disney Store people didn't understand how we could listen to that music all day long, and that we had to explain that Disney music is all any of us listened to at home too. Then my co-worker said "Wait, there are more of you?! Is there like an online community for you or something?"
Oh if she only knew!!

That is a great story. I always enjoy those random Disney conversations.
I am honestly a bigger fan of when you introduce somebody who is a disney freak to the site. Nothing like seeing their faces when they hear that they can actually listen to this music outside of Disney.

This really made me laugh.
Reminds me of the reaction I would get when, as a CM, people would ask me what I did on my days off. I went to the parks!

LOL! That's funny you mention this. I had a friend ask that question. I had showed him this site and played the station and he didn't know what to say. He said it makes sense since I always go to WDW as well as know all the words to the songs

Outside my room I mostly listen to Country, Rock, Metal and Jazz so that's why it was a shock to him about this community of people

I was talking to my friends last night and telling them some of our hilarious mayhem marauding hi-jinks ~ blank stares all around. My Mom was laughing though since she has read and heard about some of what has been going on...thank goodness for our "support group" here or I would be having severe Disney withdrawal!
My one friend kind of gets it because he is into St. John USVI and snorkeling there and he belongs to a St. John forum, that is his support group! His wife just

when I compared
our forum to
his forum since she thinks he is a bit daffy as well...sigh

As it has been said so many times on here...only Disney people truly get Disney people
