My wife would never come on here, unfortunately. She thinks I'm weird and laughs at me whenever she sees me on this site. She doesn't understand. :D

It's alright bud. This gives me a place I can go to escape and that's why I'm going in December with Momma instead of the wife. She can stay back with the kids.

Amy - Almost... it's Toy Story Mania. I have the same pic from Buzz, but thought this one was cuter. Thanks.

Mousekedude - Considering it was $31.00/day I SHOULD have been riding in it!

I feel ya, bro. We had to rent an electric cart a few times due to my mom-in-law's health, so I know what yer sayin'. I rode that puppy myself a little just because I was paying for it!

Wow, what a good son-in-law you are! We have checked into the rentals for these and they are pr-i-cey! Although, I just was looking online and found that they are $45-50/day. I'm sure I saw somewhere that they were up to $81. NaCler did you happen to notice other prices when you were renting your double Cadillac stoller?

The $45-50/day is probably the amount you actually pay. The $81 probably includes the deposit that you get back when you return it.
I totally understand the whole rental insanity! We usually end up renting a wheelchair for hubby (though he can walk, the sheer amount of walking done at the park takes a serious toll on him and at the very least he uses a cane, but the chair is very helpful). The part that stinks though is guess who has to push him all over??? (but at least I get a great workout!) We tried the ECV once and between the price, me playing catch up all day and his lousy driving, we decided that would only be for certain occasions.

Yeah, although the ECV was spendy, it was well worth it. We all ended up taking turns on it. Really came in handy. I actually have a bad ankle (shattered it in a biking accident about 5 years ago), and Mouseoholic has bad ankles for some other unknown reason. So between me, her, and mom-in-law, we really got some good use out of that bad boy.

But to get back on topic, we still have not ridden Dumbo! Can you believe that?! We've also never eaten at O'hana or Chef Mickey's. The good news is that we've already made our ADR's for O'hana and Chef Mickey's for our upcoming December trip. In fact, we booked the O'hana dinner for 10 people so that our fellow Mayhem Marauders who plan to be there can join us for dinner before our Dole Whip meet-up on the beach that night! Pretty mousekeriffic, eh?

We were pampered with our own little air conditioned mini bus, snacks, cold water, lunch was included, we saw all sorts of cool "secret" stuff behind the scenes, got a pin and a surprise book at the end of the tour. It was expensive, and it took up pretty much a whole day so you might want to save the big tours for when you have an extra day or two to spend on vacation. The shorter tours only take a few hours though and I think are still worth it for having a different experience that not everyone gets the chance to do.
I'm always leery about the Behind the Scenes tour because when I worked day parade at the MK, the tours would come in when we were setting up, and the "secret" stuff they would tell the guests about the parades (and especially Spectro) was either completely wrong or only half the truth. :D It always made me wonder how accurate the rest of the tour was.

Oh my! Well, I don't remember any really off-the-wall facts so I hope our guide was accurate. Even if he wasn't it was so totally worth it to see the Utilidors and other backstage stuff. Seeing the maintenance crews work on the American Adventure sets with the lights on and all the guts exposed was worth the price all by itself! :D
