I'd bring back Horizons, and some sort of E Ticket attraction (roller coaster?) where the old Wonders of Life Pavilion is/was, as well as bringing back the old Seas Pavilion, without all the Finding Nemo decor. The ride can stay, but don't completely change the Pavilion over it.
That and I'd bring back the logos with the unique Epcot signage at all of the Pavilions.

I haven't read every single post in this thread but it seems most everyone has stuck to changing something in Future World...and I agree with those who want The Seas back. I love "Finding Nemo" but I remember spending hours in The Seas pavilion but now with the Nemo theme I barely spend an hour in that pavilion. It's a shame...however, my preference would be to add a couple more countries to World Showcase...maybe Spain, Brazil, Egypt, or Australia. If I had to choose just one I think I'd go with Brazil. It could be Carnaval everyday! Well at least a Disney-fied version of Carnaval.

Egypt would be a pretty neat addition to the world showcase ~ it's probably too small of a country for being included though...ChaChing wrote:I haven't read every single post in this thread but it seems most everyone has stuck to changing something in Future World...and I agree with those who want The Seas back. Open the Wonder of Life again, there are endless possibilities. It's really a shame for any new EPCOT goers who never went to the EPCOT of the 80's and 90's, good times...
Re: If you could change one thing, or something at EPCOT
I don't know, I think Egypt is larger than Morocco, still Egypt would be a great addition. What kind of attractions do you think it should have... a mummy ride? Universal would love thatAmy wrote:Egypt would be a pretty neat addition to the world showcase ~ it's probably too small of a country for being included though...ChaChing wrote:I haven't read every single post in this thread but it seems most everyone has stuck to changing something in Future World...and I agree with those who want The Seas back. Re: If you could change one thing, or something at EPCOT
Egypt would be good, but tough. I'm sure they would want to build a pyramid and the Sphinx. Do they have enough room to add something that size??
And now for something completely different... when I was growing up I used to think that the Mexico Pavilion WAS Egypt! I guess it looked like a pyramid to me. So, I always called it Egypt. My family just laughed at me and it's still a running joke. "Hey, let's go get a margarita from Egypt!" They are so mean...

Re: If you could change one thing, or something at EPCOT
Visually speaking it doesn't look like World Showcase could fit any more countries but I've heard that there were plans to include Spain, USSR, Israel, and/or Equatorial Africa but those plans fell through, so if they thought they could fit those countries in, I suppose Egypt could be sqeezed in now, but I have no clue where! Oh, and the Mexico pavilion is a pyramid, it's just a Mayan pyramid. So you were partially correct; you were just in the wrong continentNaCler wrote:Egypt would be good, but tough. In nor particular order as I can't pick:
1) Get rid of the weird, trapped-soul holding graveyard labirynth that is the entrance.
2) Bring back Kitchen Kabaret/Food Rocks...somehow...somewhere...maybe where that Circle of Life movie plays in the Land Pavilion...
3) Bring back World of Motion and Horizons...somehow...somewhere...
4) Bring back Figment. REAL Figment. And Dreamfinder too while we're at it.
5) Bring back the Dreamport. The REAL Dreamport. Or at least use its space for something cool...and public.
6) Use the Wonders of Life Pavilion for something...just about anything....maybe see #'s 2 & 3 above.
7) Bring back the original Akershus menu- I don't care if there are princesses there or not so long as I get all I can eat a) brown goat cheese, b) flat bread, and c) giant Norwegian meatballs.
8) Bring back Jeremy Irons to re-record the new SSE script- or better yet a new script entirely.
9) Bring back Ice Station Cool. Club Cool just fails as a concept...and isn't nearly as, well, cool.
10) Bring back LIVE narration of Living with the Land.
11) Get rid of Nemo from the Seas. I don't really care about the Seas and never have, but I have an issue with Disney characters being permanent parts of Future World.
12) Operate the world food kiosks in the WS year-round. No need to have food & wine festival (though I understand why they do) to have them out.
13) Make a more difficult version of Kim Possible challenge in WS for adults. That thing is cool.

There is plenty of room where the Outpost is right now to put another country.
There is also room in between some of the countries to the right of The American Adventure (if you are facing it) where they could squeeze something in if they wanted. It is nice to have the trees and plants to separate some of those countries though.
Check it out on Google Maps to see it better.
