Nice video Andy...I'm assuming from the video it was the closing of the park but I'm curious, how late was that?

About 9:40 (Roughly 40 minutes after the posted park closing time, which was 9pm, also the start time of Wishes).

I filmed that on my first night of the trip. Having spent most of the day on a plane. I'd been up for about 22 hours at that point. I'm amazed I could hold the camera up.

Sometimes the adreneline is the only thing keeping you going ~ especially when you are at the parks! I flew into Cali from Tokyo, spent the entire day/evening at the park without feeling a bit tired, until I collapsed into bed that night. My Mom, who had flown from Michigan, took a nap in the hotel in the afternoon, and met me in the hotel concierge lounge for the fireworks, wondered where I had been all day!

I am EXTREMELY excited that I am just prancing around doing random things to occupy my time. Most has been constructive but some has been a bit destructive. (I swear it wasn't my fault... I didn't know the flourescent light bulb I was changing would roll off the wall it was leaning against and shatter into a million pieces).

Bring plenty of shorts, T-shirts, and SPF 30+ because the general forecast for June is sunny and hot!!! That's not to say there's not a chance of random afternoon Thunderstorms, because that's typical Florida summer afternoon weather...

We are experienced and are well aware of the summer heat, humidity, and unfortunate thunderstorms. I personally love the weather. We have bought the sun tan lotion already. 3 cans of SPF 45 and three cans of SPF 30 should be enough to keep me only at first degree burns

Now down to 23 days and 11 hours The vacation planning DVD arrived today and will be watched in the coming hours.

It was my way to welcome you to Florida, dude! Frankly, it's just too hot and humid to go during the summer to WDW - I don't plan to go again until December. But as a Floridian, I welcome to you to my state and hope your family has a good visit here!

Shoot, Florida's got nothing on Houston in the Summer! Same heat, same humidity, less breeze here! By 9:30 a.m. you are already soaked with sweat from head to toe. I guess that gives us an advantage in WDW: we're already used to it! But I do have to say, I still don't like it much when I'm trying to vacation. That's why we tend to go during the cooler months.

Next trip: December 3rd through 12th! Woo-hoo!

Yeah, I would really like to see/hear more about World of Color. So far it sounds like just a souped-up version of Fantasmic, but I'd like to believe that it's much more. Details, man, I need details...!
