Does anyone here own a Keurig coffee maker? If so...do you know of any of the pods that are similar to the Kona blend at WDW? DF and I will be honeymooning there and have ADRs for Kona Cafe on our last day and will be trying the Kona coffee then. We've registered for a Keurig and so we'll probably want some of the good coffee when we get home.
Thanks!

We LOOOOVVVEEE our Keurig!!! Sadly, we only found one place in town that has Kona in k-cups, and we didn't buy any because the Kona was only actually 10% of the mix. What's 10%? It wasn't even worth it! We all discussed Kona coffee on another thread somewhere, can't remember where, and I was glad to hear you can get genuine Kona at the Poly. That's all I used to drink way back when it was not so expensive and you could buy it almost everywhere. Now, if you can even find it at all, it's
super expensive. Hey, maybe they'll have some pure Kona in k-cups at the Poly, too! Can't wait to check it out! But even if they don't have it in the k-cups we'll still buy some anyway because our Keurig has the insert for using bulk coffee. Oh, yeah...!!!

I didn't think you could get Kona anytime, the stand that sells coffee is only open until 11:00am then in the evening that turns into a sushi bar. I'm sure you can get the coffee in the restaurants, but not to buy. We always buy several lbs. before returning home, grind it here at home and brew it. Ahhhhhh, it makes me so happy!
We find the Kurig coffees too weak. But everyone is entitled to their own tastes. We prefer grinding and brewing our own coffee.

Seriously?!
Wow, they must not have a lot of the stronger varieties where you're at. Some of them are pretty potent, actually.
Unless, of course, you like to make your coffee strong enough that you can stand up a spoon in the middle of a cup and it'll stay there.... in that case you might have a point....

YES!!! Kona Coffee at the Kona Cafe is one of our trip highlights (that actually sounds sad when I say it outloud). You can either get the basic drip or you can order a Kona French Press, which I highly recommend.
As for Kurig, I agree with it being weak - there is one blend called Dark Magic that's ok, but nothing like brewing a cup of the good stuff on your own.

Yes, I love strong coffee. I'm not allowed to make the coffee at any family functions or holidays...my uncle refers my coffee as "turbo lax".

DH and my cousin love it though!

My Mom likes "chewy" coffee so I imagine she would like this Kona coffee!

M-dude is right...Kona is not super strong. I just love it b/c it has such a smooth taste. There's really nothing like it! It really has to be savored.

Exactly, BB. It's got the smoothest coffee taste of any coffee I've ever had. It's really great coffee. (and, sadly, you can't get it up here in Canada.

)

I believe if you call the Poly, you can order it. It might cost a bit for the shipping, but you can savor it!
