I think we got those seats through the Disney Visa actually. This was a little over 6 years ago and they had sent a coupon book - don't think they do that anymore

It was very cool and we felt like royalty in our little private seating section right at the start of the parade.

That's awesome!!! I'm a Charter Member of the Disney Visa, and I don't ever remember getting a coupon booklet! Maybe it was only a DL thing? That's pretty cool though!

My favorite was Pete and his dragon "Eliott".

This is something that I want to see. I keep saying I'm going to get to see it, someday

My favorite float was always the Blue Fairy float which started the parade. But there are so many great floats -- the character train, Alice in Wonderland on her giant toadstool, the Cinderella clocktower with the dancers, the giant Eagle at the end...and I love the music.
Last September, at the D23 Expo, I took a picture standing right next to the turtle, which was really exciting.

I've never seen the parade, so I don't have a favorite... yet.

We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Oh my goodness! You have never seen the Main Street Electrical Parade?! You must be so excited to have it come to your side of the country so you can experience it firsthand!
I think you'll like it!

Yeah. When I was younger and had a annual trip to WDW in early December with my family, my parents never wanted to stay out late for the parades or fireworks. Only reason I ever saw Illuminations once in the 90's was because my dad wanted to see it. Once was enough for him. I'll miss Spectromagic but I'm looking forward to MSEP.

Definitely Pete's Dragon. Followed by the ladybug.
