I really gave her a hard time about buying that luggage, for that very reason (...that it couldn't possibly hold up well at that cheap of a price). But I must say I've been pleasantly surprised. Of course, it is showing some signs of wear, but that's to be expected for as many trips as we've taken....

When it first opened, Goodings used to be great place to get food as an office gift. Whenever I went to WDW, I would stop by Goodings across from LBV and get their packaged cookies from the bakery area. Unfortunately, their quality declined a few years back and I stopped doing that. But there for while, the whole office enjoyed some really good bakery made cookies.

I bought a piece of disney luggage and it has lasted for years and years. It still is in great shape and looks almost new. I don't know what you would call it but it has two wheels and a handle that pulls up from the back of it. I absolutely love it and wish I had gotten more. I was apprehensive for the same reason and when I went back the next time and swore I'd get more, the design I loved so much was all gone. Can't even find it on ebay.

Just keep looking Amy...they clearance it out when the designs are changing. We got a nice 3 piece set for 50 bucks once a few years ago.

The sales are really hit and miss.

I gotta admit, when DisneyStore marks things down for clearance, they go quickly. It's like a piranha feeding frenzy!

Most gift shops sell writing pens in a pack of 5 or 6 featuring various characters (ie: some are princesses, classic characters etc). I used to just give my coworker friends a single pen because I know it is something they will use at their desk. Its an easy way to stretch the dollar.

Too bad the downtown Disney "$ store" no longer carries the mystery Grab Bags. We would always come away with several gems.

Yes, I just got a pen from a co-worker who went there last week. It was from the Hollywood Studios, but I know that they sell them from all the parks and resort gift stores. This one is nice comfortable to use and writes very well.

I remember seeing some really awesome pens at the Poly gift shop!!! That is a nice gift, it's useful and something a person would most likely not buy for themselves!
