Gaston will have his own restaurant tavern in the renovated Fantasyland. Not sure if he will be there though. I'll want to be hanging out with Belle, so I could use some help distracting Gaston and the Beast if at all possible.

Restaurant tavern? As in beer in the MK?

No...I doubt it will have beer...but it will be a counter service (I think) that will be made to look just like the tavern from the movie. It will have antlers on the wall and maybe some pictures of Gaston and some muskets and all that.

See the rendering below:

Sure looks like it, huh? Also notice that only the parents are drinking from these so-called "non-alcoholic" mugs...I'm starting to wonder here...

I don't get the fascination with san angelo... it's taco bell quality food. maybe i'm jaded 'cause i live in the desert southwest right now, but i'd rather have steakage in le cellier or escargot at chefs de france any day over a taco salad

just sayin'...

If we're wondering about BEER, I'm right there with you. I agree with Le Celler or may be the Rose and Crown. You can get better Tacos up on 92.

Looking at those pictures, it appears the Turkey Legs will move from Frontierland to Fantasyland...

I'm right there with ya, bubba. I live in Houston, so I know what Tex-Mex food is supposed to taste like.

The only thing San Angelo has going for it is the ambience..... and the tequila bar, of course......

Me too...I've never eaten at San Angelo, so I can't make the comparison. I just know that hubby likes the watermelon juice from the Mexico pavilion. I'm not sure where exactly in the pavilion that's from, but oh well...

Being from the southwest though, good Mexican food is everywhere! (though I admit I have been known to indulge in taco bell  )

I agree on both accounts....it's definitely beer and the mexican food at the Mexico pavilion is sub-par, but the atmosphere is wonderful and is why I wanted to eat there in the first place.

The ironic thing about the San Angel is that many of their recipes are Tex-mex dishes, but they are cooked in the style of the traditional interior of Mexico. Anyone who has traveled extensively through the interior of Mexico knows that traditionally the food is a little bland, which the food at San Angel kinda is. But Tex-mex (just one way to describe Southwestern U.S. "Mexican" food) is way more spicy, and has a lot more flavor to it. This is what most people in the Southern U.S. are familiar with, and is what they expect when they eat "Mexican" food.

Anyway........ I still like going there for the ambience.... and the Tequila bar. The Tequila bar is top notch. :D

How come, Mouskedude, I have the feeling that the Tequila Bar is more of the attraction of the place for you than the ambience?
