You were there since I have been, we last went in 2000. I kinda feel the same way!MmeLeota wrote:There have been so many changes since 2003 (the last time I was at WDW) that I wouldn't even know where to begin to mention the things I have never done...![]()
That is too funny momeja!momeja wrote:We haven't gone to Le Cellier either, but then again, we live in Canada, so I guess we go to Le Cellier all the time....
My in-laws don't live/work there anymore so it's harder to get out there...Amy wrote:You were there since I have, we last went in 2000. I was always more of a thrill ride kid.Amy wrote:Arete wrote:Last trip I finally rode Dumbo. I was 34 at the time.I can't believe you hadn't been on Dumbo before you were in your 30's!
Same here, just add Disneyland and California Adventure to it.mindflipper wrote:I have never been to Tokyo DisneySea, Tokyo Disneyland, or Disneyland Paris Hollywood Studios.
We saw Luxo on our last trip, when you and M-dude were there! We were told the same thing, that he was reitred, and one evening when we were exiting TSM, there he was!!! I was so excited! I took a bunch of pics. and some video on my camera. He was too cool! When did hear he was retired?! Hopefully they will keep him around!Mouseoholic wrote:I still have never seen Luxo in the Studios and apparently he has been permanently retired and so I will never get to see Luxo in action.

I liked it, but I prefer Carpets. It bums me out knowing they're going to turn Carpets into another Dumbo. For Dumbo, I almost wished I had gone on during the day, so I could have gotten some pictures of Fantasyland from that angle, but I don't ever want to wait.Amy wrote:And the verdict was...Arete wrote:I was always more of a thrill ride kid.Plus the line is always something heinous like 2 hours. So last trip during extra magic hours at 2 am when there was no line, I finally hopped on.
Matt Hochberg aka Subsonic Quick Gold reported it on Studioscentral.com (website owner). He has the inside scoop on all things WDW Studios and tweeted it yesterday. Apparently it is due to the lawsuit with the Luxo brand lamps. Really silly. They are suing Disney because they used/sold the Luxo lamp. What a bummer!!! Luxo was so cool! You would think, like you said, they would want the publicity! So, no more Luxo, for good?!Mouseoholic wrote:Matt Hochberg aka Subsonic Quick Gold reported it on Studioscentral.com (website owner). You would think they would enjoy the publicity knowing fans like you and me would potentially go out and buy a Luxo Lamp! Of course the suit could be a formality to claim royalties on the profits Disney collects on the brand.
But, that is all neither here nor there and not related to the thread.![]()

I don't know if it's set in stone, but that's the active rumor over at screamscape.com. Carpets will become the dueling Dumbo once it's moved over to its new area by the Barnstormer. I have no idea if they'll do anything with the space in Adventureland or not.MmeLeota wrote:I didn't know that! I guess it makes sense and all...I went on the carpets with my brother-in-law and we had a blast! (I let my hubby go with our nieceIt bums me out knowing they're going to turn Carpets into another Dumbo., but she likes to torment me on Dumbo
)
kcarts, this is something you MUST do!kcarts wrote:I've never done Mickey's Philharmagic. Seems every time I wander by there the show has just begun. I can never time it right.
