I miss Toad, and I haven't gotten attached to Pooh...except for the Toad picture in the beginning...but it would be oh, what is the correct name of that attraction, This Is Your Life, Mickey Mouse...no, it was, eons ago, where Donald's Philharmagic is now.

This is going to drive me crazy all day, does someone PLEASE remember the name of that attraction...there was a orchestra, and scenes from memorable Disney films, like Alice in Wonderland...it was enchanting. WHAT was the name of that attraction?

Are you thinking of the Mickey Mouse Revue? You can look at this website and see if that is the one you are thinking of...
http://waltdatedworld.bravepages.com/id44.htm It opened in 1971 and closed in 1980 according to the site.

And I was all excited to finally go see it again at TDR this month, until I found out that they replaced it with Philharmagic last year. Just missed it!

I started thinking about this after I posted, and now I think it would be Mickey Mouse Review and a close second, Kitchen Kabaret. Does anyone else remember Ham and Eggs, and all the calypso vegetables? We (my son) still have Tommy Tomato!

I liked Kitchen Kabaret and was kind of mad when they replaced it with Food Rocks, but then I grew to like that one too - the music always wins me over! The only problem with Food Rocks is now whenever I hear the original songs that the attraction had songs based on, I can only sing the Disney-fied lyrics which draw some weird looks! veggie - veggie -froot -froot - cha -cha -cha

My DH and I just do not feel like true Disney Fans since we never had the pleasure of experiencing Horizon's in person. I guess we will just have to settle for YouTube!

Actually, I didn't and just now looked it up.

As Maggie Smith said in the movie
Murder by Death, "That's tacky.
REALLY tacky!"

the last time we went to the Monster's Inc show, they picked on my dad because he was layered head to toe in a bright yellow mickey poncho. They called him "The Man wrapped in plastic"....it was awesome. Great show too.
But I must say, the Timekeeper was an awesome attraction. Also i wish Alien Encounters was still around because that Stitch ride is terrible, i can barely fit in the seat. (I used to have an Alien encounters shirt with that little alien guy on it...i forget his name ): )

YES! that's the one. It was a killer shirt. the front had Skippy in the test tube and on the back he was all charred and frazzled. it was great.
