During the day as you go from resort to resort or to different parks the music changes to include the theme of where you are heading. At night the music is soft and kind of jazzy to help people unwind. I just never noticed this before and thought id share
We love this, Dd listens for figment music on the way to Epcot. I never paid attention at night. The bus is always so crowded but now I will try to pick out a tune.
That is one of the great things about the bus music system. I have always enjoyed listening to how the music can vary so much but many people never hear it.

Len - That's what's so great about Disney... they pay attention to details. The music they play on bus rides, while you're in the restrooms and just general area music.

Len90, many people are just too tired when they board buses to pay attention to the music, or they are talking loudly amongst themselves the music just can't be heard.

I personally think, coming from the NYC area, that many people don't classify the bus ride as part of the "experience". Disney incorporates the bus ride into your theme park experience via the use of the music and the on board prompts. At Rutgers, on the MTA, or any other mass transit system there is no music and it is just viewed and understood as mass transit. There is nothing to pay attention to and I really think that is why I am so keen to the bus music.

After staying at POFQ, I noticed how the music on the bus was themed to the Port Orleans resorts when they got to those areas. It was really cool and gave me that "at home" feeling that I was about to be able to relax and lay down to recharge.

OMG...I hope I can make it until my trip down there! I am so ready!!!

I've always noticed the different music on the buses. I love it! Just another Disney touch! :D

The bus music is great! I always love it when I ride a different resort's bus so I can hear what music it has. I haven't noticed a difference between day and night though. Guess I'll have to be more observant next time.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

If you see the character Ariel in a parade. She waves her hand in a mimic of rolling waves, whereas other princesses wave differently.

No detail is too small for Disney.

All these bus posts have me wanting to hop a ride. We ALWAYS drive, but now I feel like I missing out.

That is interesting. I really don't recall ever noticing that! I will have to pay a lot more attention next time we go.

It would be amazing if they did have disney theme park music on a satellite radio service provider. However, the next best thing is to broadcast it through a blackberry, droid, or iPhone into your car.

That's presuming you have a blackberry, droid, or iPhone; believe it or not, not all of us are that into all-in-one phone technology - some of us still have boring cell phones that are just phones.
