5 injured in bus crash near Epcot

In CO they would have tarped the Bus also. The tow companies are responcible if peices fall off in transit. Once crushed peices keep fallin off fairly easily.

Wow, this is horrible. I haven't been on Sub in the past two days. You just wonder what did really happen? Was the driver distracted or did the brakes fail? In any event, my prayers go out to the people involved in the crash and their families.

Very true. The towing company is pretty much the one responsible for cleaning up the entire wreck. They have to sweep up the glass and pick up all the little pieces. I do think it would have been covered up, but not as well and as soon. Disney had that bus covered very fast.

As of yesterday only one guest remained hospitalized at Celebration. The person was in fair condition with non life-threatening injuries. As for everybody else, they have since been treated and released. Apparently even the driver was released from ORMC yesterday.

This entire thing is odd. I was at disney this day. On the news that night it seemed that the bus driver for the charter bus just stopped in the middle of the road to check the bus that was running put "seemed odd". fL requires working cars to be moved from the road if possib. The charther did not.

That is one thing that was mentioned in the news article today. The driver of the Disney bus was cited with careless driving.
