It might start having soft openings as early as the first. They are still on track for soft openings for the second-fourth to absorb holiday crowds. Fastpasses will not be issued though.

how do you know, if there will be a soft opening? I would like to know because I would like to go early to Disneyland instead of the 15th
Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

There is no way to know for sure. Soft openings are part of the CM training and testing. Often times during soft openings, issues come up that have to be fixed or CMs need to be retrained. During soft openings, it is common place for the ride to be shut down for minutes, hours, or even the rest of the day while they figure things out.
