Hmm...I started running at around 6:30 AM...and this was almost 6 miles into it...and running 11 minutes per mile...this would have been about 7:35 to 7:45. Remember that this is the second weekend in January...so the sun is taking its sweet time to come up in the morning.
For the great runners...they finish the Half Marathon while it's still dark. For most of us...the first half is in the dark and the second half is in the morning light. So...pretty much dark until you get to MK and then light afterward.
The MK really is beautiful in the morning. Tomorrowland is best seen at night...but Frontierland and Adventureland will take your breath away at dawn.

I was hoping to get my fiance really good with the Beverly, then she reminded me that she grew up in Atlanta, with the World of Coke. Oh well.

I like the Beverly. It tastes like bubble gum. Troofs.
It's sort of like coffee, you get used to the bitterness after a while. Plus it's so fun to down a whole cup in front of horrified onlookers.

It's more fun to down a whole cup in front of somebody with no idea before they have some. Remember to tell how much you like it!

At Disney Hollywood Studio I saw an actor dressed up as traffic cop on Sunset Blvd set up orange safety cones in the street around a toddler who was laying in the street having a tantrum. He then proceeded to direct traffic around the kid, saying things like, "Move along, folks! The situation is under control." in a very official tone, while gesturing with his white gloved hands. I went up and told him it was the funniest thing I had ever seen. He never broke character. He told me, "All in a day's work, sir. Have a good day."

Oh that is good. Though, I feel more for the parents. I am sure it was humiliating to have their child screaming like that and then to top it off have a traffic cop cordon off the scene and direct people around him.

I'm a parent. I would have taken video and forever held over his head. It would be a great thing to have for the wedding rehearsal dinner!!!

That is why I am a fan of the Citizens of Hollywood. Masters of Improv!!! Everyday, something different.
