Well it's not all that quiet except in the morning or late in the day but I like to sit in the raised center seating of the Electric Umbrella and people watch. Just a nice place.

But another place, still not quiet all the time. But in the Pinochhio eatery where you can sit next to the glass looking down in on It's a Small World.

We little ones so my quiets spots must also keep them occupied. I like Poohs Playground at MK If you go sit in the back by the pond/bridge. THe kids can play but it is peaceful. I also like the Tunnels in the Honey I shrunk the Kids PG. You can get lost from the crazyness and just be little. I guess the other problem I have is I don't sit still well.

OH OH OH... I just remembered the trails at Port Orleans. The nature trails I think they were even on some islands. I don't remeber 100% But it was very peaceful

A bench near the lake, just outside of Germany in Epcot early in the morning. :D

There are so many lovely spots...hmmm...

The hammocks on the beach at the Grand Floridian, overlooking Bay Lake & the Polynesian...and also the large outside patio on the 2nd floor of GF overlooking Bay Lake & MK

&

The rocking chairs in front of Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness Campground take me back to warm, quiet evenings...

One of my favorites is to just sit outside the hotel, either by the pool or the lake, depending on which one is the most quiet, and listen to the sounds. If the sounds aren't peaceful enough, I'll just put on good acoustic music on my iPod.

I know there is one spot in the Magic Kingdon we always take a little nap. I think it is located in the same building as the Photo place on Main Street... The little theater where they play all the old school Disney cartoons. ;)

There is also a spot in Animal Kingdom behind the Flame Tree BBQ that overlooks the water to Expedition Everest. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a little afternoon snack. :mickey:

Definitely the hammocks @ Caribbean Beach (or Grand Floridian for you upper scale regulars).

A place in the parks I love to relax and unwind is riding on Spaceship Earth. I don't understand the calmness I feel when I ride it every time.

For my wife and I there are two spots. The first is in EPCOT, in the section of France up against the fence looking over the river used by the launches. There's beautiful Parisian music always playing there.
The second is out on the porch of the Wildneress Lodge, right outside from the fireplace overlooking the grounds.
Hope you have a great day

One of my favorites is the pool at my resort at night after the parks close. We stay up late, so usually it's just me and my husband swimming and sometimes another family might be there too. It's so relaxing after a long day at the parks and helps refresh us for the next day - the hot tub really helps sore feet!

I also find our table dining to be really relaxing. Sure there's usually still a lot of people around, but I'm focused on our table and enjoying good food and talking about what we've done so far and what we want to do next with my husband.

Another time is anytime at park closing, we usually will just sit there and enjoy the atmosphere. I think some of my favorite spots are looking at the castle, hanging out in Adventureland, and World Showcase. The buses are crowded anyways, so we just relax for a bit before going to wait in the worst line of the day.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

If it's open, the second floor of Columbia Harbor House is awesome, especially if you can get a table overlooking the pathway up into Fantasyland. I also vote for the path between ToonTown and Tomorrowland (I really hope they keep it open after the expansion). The east path down from the castle (where the wishing well is) is often deserted. We often go and sit behind Sleepy Hollow (it's our default meeting place if we ever get separated) which is usually pretty deserted unless it's a horrifically busy day. The Art Festival side street on Main Street is also a usually quiet place.

At Epcot, there's seating areas hidden near Mission Space. One's been changed into a smoke spot (sadly for me). The area behind Imagination (where the bathrooms are) is usually dead quiet, although there's no shelter from the sun. The back of the UK pavilion is usually a great quiet place to sit and relax (unless the British Invasion is playing. :D ) The gardens in Japan are wonderful if you're looking to get away from the hustle bustle. Very calming.

I cant think of any quiet places at the Studios, but I wish I could climb up into the Ewok village and escape for a while. The walking path between the Studios and the Boardwalk is beautiful and quiet.

The Animal Kingdom is full of awesome quiet places if you know where to look. The paths up under the Tree of Life are the best. I think it took us 6 years to even realize they were there! It wasn't until I saw someone post a picture of a kangaroo on dA and asked where in the world kangaroos were at at the AK that I even found out about them.

And of course the resorts have lots of peaceful nooks and crannies to hide away.

Lots of great choices ARETE. Columbia House is a hidden spot for sure, as is the red trail to the place formerly known as ToonTown.

We like to sit & snack near the bakery in France. You are enclosed by buildings and it just feels so peaceful & lost in the scenery. So many places in EPCOT. We also like the gardens in the UK - when British Invasion is not playing.

AK is a park all about hidden spots. This is our favorite place to chill and take our time.

I completely agree. I've always considered the AK as a park for looking rather than riding. People spend so much time running to the various attractions they miss so much beauty and detail.

YES YES YES Arete. Great minds think alike!!!! We often do AK in the middle of our trip for a relaxing day. We will watch tigers for at least 30 minutes. We always find a new spot to camp out and just watch the animals. One year it was ducks, another it was otters. There is always something different to check out.
