2 weeks away from WDW Any suggestions?
We are returning to our favorite place in the world on March 3. Anybody have any idea's opinions, suggestions or thoughts about WDW in March?

Weather should be good. Hopefully you are going before the spring break crowd. Great advice from previous poster - get to the parks by opening to maximize your time for the star attractions. Do you have kids?? That determines your afternoon breaks.

Thank You Pluto 23. I've enjoyed the Touring Plans site.
99Soulz We were there in October 2009. Disney made us a great offer for March and we couldn't pass it up.
Myself, my wife, our 9 year olds girl, our 7 year old girl and our 4 year old boy.
This is a 7 day trip and we hope it's more relaxing. We had a fantastic time but we nearly ran ourselves ragged in October (A five day trip) trying to cover everything. This trip we even passed on the Hopper so that we can focus on 1 park each day and not worry about jumping around which wore us out.
We are sooooo excited. It's going to be great!!

First off, it will be a great time... it's a Disney Vacation! You also have every right to be that excited, even if it means bouncing off the walls the night before!
Well since you don't have the hopper, make sure you plan your days ahead according to the night time EMH. I would recommend that one night you make it over to DTD for a night of leisurely shopping. There is so much to take in at the World of Disney store that it could easily take you an hour on its own. The kids will love Once Upon a Toy for obvious reasons.
I would advise that you try taking a nice late night snack in the Main Street Bakery. It always is a nice way to wind down a day at the MK and really lets you take in Main Street USA.
Also, just out of curiosity, what resort are you staying at?

We are heading down in March as well, 18th-25th. We also passed on the hopper this time as we are going with my in-laws for the first time (we have been going every year for the past 10 years with my family and always got the hopper or APs since we bounce around a lot). We decided to pass on the hopper this time to keep the experience from being overwhelming for the first-timers. Planning to just stick to one park each day and take it easy. We'll do each park and then decide which ones to go back to the other 3 days.
Since you were just there in October you can do the same thing with just hitting the things you didn't do or since you have a couple more days this trip just take each day as it comes as well. Do you have ADRs lined up? We made ours when the 180 day window came back up last November but I just went in yesterday and made some changes....I actually changed the days for Cape May Cafe & Liberty Tree Tavern....and we're only 4 weeks away from our trip! AND we have a party of 10 too! Not sure I've ever been able to do that so close to the trip. Hoping that's an indication of how the crowds will be.

We are staying at Riverside...just like the first time. This time I hope we get a little closer to the bus stop. the long walk slowly wears you down over the days. Of course, it was 95 degrees every day too. Probably won't be the case in March.
99 soulz, we are planning on hitting several things we missed and our favorites like Splash Mountain, Soarin and Tower of Terror.
Plus, some things we did when we were dead tired and we would like another chance at those things when we were not so tired. We also want to see downtown Disney which we didn't last time.
12 days and a wakeup till WDW!

PLAN! PLAN! PLAN! Enjoy!
Days of your stay plus dining plans. We stay for nine days but have tickets/hoppers for seven. Hit each park twice with nights from AK to another park for special shows, etc. with our dining plans for each day each park. GOTTA go to Crystal Palace in MK - lovin' it!!!! (Didn't make it the last time because I booked too late.)
If you feel too confined to an itinerary and affording a personal guide is not the option, listen to Prince's 'Let's Go Crazy' when you get there and trust me - HAVE FUN!!! It's guaranteed!!!

I was wondering-where are your favorite places to eat. Mine was the Sci fi Drive in at Disney MGM Studio. You can't find that atmosphere in the real world plus the waitresses gave my daughter a light up Tinker Bell pendant and the food was great too.
Let me here your favorites with details please!

Food hu! hmmmm
Favorite places to eat thats a hard one. Walk up service would have to be El Pirato outside of Pirates if it is open it is a seasonal place.Let me here your favorites with details please!
Dine in I have a couple, your nine yr old will love Chef Mickey's (great for kids, but food offered for the price so so for parents.), Rainforect Cafe in downtown Disney my son who is 6 loves that place. I would avoid T-rex if I was you, 4 of us eat there the bill was 100 dollars and I didnt feel we got anywhere near our moneys worth, Walk threw that place thou

Mexico Epcot, Le Celliar (Canada, Epcot), Prime Time Cafe Hollywood Studios, O'Hana's (Poly).
FLAME TREE BBQ in Animal Kingdom hands down my favorite place on Disney Property to eat, walk down the path and you will see a place where you can watch Everest while you eat and it is quiet.
I hope these ideas helped there are so many great places to eat, that a tough one to narrow down.

I know you're so excited! We're heading down there March 5! Where are you staying?
Take more than one pair of shoes! I never wear tennis shoes - actually the only pair I own is a backless pair, so this past May I just took one pair of flip flops. I guess I was trying to save packing space or something, but they were black and (at the time seemed) comfy. After a few days of being there, my feet hurt like never before. I ended up having to buy a pair of flip flops down there that didn't hurt my feet - I must have spent an hour trying to find something. Now, I LOVE the Mickey Mouse flip flops I got and they helped sooooo much, but from now on I know that I need to take at least two pairs of shoes and rotate them during the trip so I don't wear out my feet the same way day after day.

Our favorites have to be Kona Cafe, Yak and Yeti (table or counter), and T-Rex. We stumbled on Kona when we couldn't get a seat at any table service in MK and boy are we happy we did! They have a great steak and amazing desserts! My husband always gets the banana chocolate creme brulee, but I adore the coconut cream kiki tart! Yak and Yeti is good Chinese food - everything we've tried here has been great. T-Rex is a really cool experience and has the best ribs I've ever had that I can't wait to have again - and I'm not somebody that usually enjoys ribs that much! I hate that it's not on the dining plan, but it's so good we have to do it anyways.rphillips14 wrote:I was wondering-where are your favorite places to eat.
