Now that I got myself thinking about the Food and Wine Festival I wondered what everyones favorite booth is. Last year was my first Food and Wine and I loved it! Our favorite booth, by far, was Athens, Greece...they served very large portions of greek salad, a huge spanikopita, and the best date cookie I've ever had.
I think our 2nd favorite booth was Australia for the Lamb Chops and dipping sauce. However, it was getting to be a bit hot at 2:00 in October - I think I remember seeing Snow White posing with some children and just looking at her velvet costume was making me even hotter. Ah, but I go off on a tangent!

I had that date cookie, it was incredible.
I wish they had provided a recipe.
I thought the food in Turkey? if it was Turkey, was good, it was just past Canada and before UK.
And the Louisiana area, beads, bread pudding, shrimp, ooh, I'm starting to salivate.
By the time the day was over I felt like a happy garbage pail...good, fun food, but chocolates mixed with snails and lobster and beer, and lamb...and I didn't eat dinner for sure that night.
Yes I did. I had school bread and a kringle...and I survived and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I know, not very adventurous, but China had this really tasty chicken in somewhat of a peanut sauce that was delicious! This was 2001 so I can't remember the name, but I do know it began with an S

. We also had some mussels from a New Zealand Stand that were really tasty

Capetown, South Africa - Durban Spiced Chicken. I don't think it's on the menu this year, unfortunately.
A very close second would be the Crawfish Etoufee from New Orleans, Louisiana.

I'll have to go with the Australia booth. It had great food and drink.

I think my favorite newest addition would be the spicy sausage with polenta from Canada. Also the Gulab from India is crazy sweet.

My DW begged and pleaded with me to try the Lamb Slider (like a small hamburger) at the New Zealand kiosk.
I resisted (

I don't like lamb...I don't like lamb...I don't like lamb

)
She got it anyway and...I tried it. It was wonderful!

I think this gets my vote for my favorite kiosk.

No really, see? It's a screwdriver and it's... sonic

Lion is 100% right, spicy sausage with polenta from Canada was great and one of the cheapest. The fillet Mignon in Africa was good(sauce on the side).
