Earlier I posted my favorite hotel is POP Century.. which I still agree with because I go to WDW for the parks not the hotel...
BUT my favorite PLACE to stay would have to be Fort Wilderness Campground in my tent. I've done it twice and loved both times. It is really "A whole new world" everyone should do it at least once. You are in nature but in WDW you get a free feature movie every night under the stars, wake up and watch the sun come up over the lake. I think it is really cool!!

Favorite hotel is AKL. However, Pop Century is up there. I don't know what it is about that hotel but it's always in my head as a place to stay when I want to stay at Disney. It always comes down to AKL or Pop. And it's not a money issue. It's just something about the hotel. I love it. But if I had to just say "my favorite hotel is" it would be AKL. Love the lobby, the rooms, and having the savannah right there puts it over the top.

Wow. I did not know that. There should be a commemorative plaque or something. That's awesome.

I can make an argument for really any of the hotels...buuuuut if I had to choose one..it would be Wilderness Lodge...you just cant beat that lobby and pool area...it also has one of the best music loops of all the resorts

I've only stayed at the Contemporary, but I enjoyed it so much I'd have a hard time picking another one to stay at for the next trip.

It's funny how much I've heard lately about the campground. People who don't even like camping and tried it raved about the site, how friendly the people are, and how the people decorate during any of the holidays, not just Christmas. Also, I've heard it's where the wealthy people spend their winter in that campground in their $300 thousand RVs.

I am going to have to go with the Contemporary. Once we stayed on the 11th floor facing the Magic Kingdom and basically had the same view the California Grill does. It was spectacular watching fireworks and watching the park.
It was fun to see that from that angle the fireworks look really far from the park, but when you are standing on Main Street they seem just beyond the castle.

Boardwalk for us ---it was great walking into Epcot and Hollywood Studios this past week. I love the atmosphere there and everyone is always so friendly. I love the new renovated rooms. It really reminded of us a nice beach house. We also ate at Cat Cora's and loved the food.

It is still Old Key West for me. It was our first DVC and still our favorite. Nice walk to Downtown Disney too.
No really, see? It's a screwdriver and it's... sonic

I love POFQ. I love how its seems so small and quaint. I also love the boat ride to DTD.

Ft. Wilderness Resort & Campground!
A lot of happy childhood memories attached to that place...
