Not only is it still there, but it, and ALL the LEGOs, underwent a renovation over the past couple of months. Lots of new stuff there to replace those faded by the sun. And the playground area has been renovated as well! :)

I used to go to DQ all the time, but I haven't been back for a while. There used to be a game... sort of like a werd pong/DDR hybrid... that me and my brother used to play for hours. Nobody else wanted to play it because it looked so dumb, and it was confusing to figure out how to play at first. It all took place in a table filled with light tubes with lights that traveled back and forth. Then you had to time you button punches with the music AND when the "ball" was right at the very end of your side. If you timed it right it would send the light back across the tube to the other side, and if your opponent didn't catch it in time, make it to the end and give you a point. There were five tubes in all, so keeping track of everything became hectic as anything, but it was easily one of the best games I played there. If it's still there, make sure to spend some time with it!

Actually, I think I MIGHT have some pics, oddly enough. I'll check and see what I can find. If not, I'm actually probably going to be over that way in the next few weeks, so I'll see if I can't grab you a bunch! :-)

Awesome shots! Thanks!

I looked through my picture folder, and I can't find a single picture (though I know I have some somewhere). I'll ask my wife, but like I said, if I can't find any I'll still probably be heading down there in a week or two. I'll take some fresh shots for you. :-)

You know, I feel horrible. I went there yesterday and didn't realize until I got there that I forgot to pack my freakin' camera.

Anyway, I took a mental picture and can tell you the changes. :)

There's now a crab and two fish next to the Loch Ness Monster. The UFO has been replaced by tourists walking several dogs and holding a camcorder to film other tourists. They've changed around the play area so that it's covered with lights, and now there's more stuff to do with Legos. There's no more "snoring tourist" (which is a bummer). The windows now have Lego designs of major cities around the world. And the interior is completely changed around, including a massive board with about a thousand Lego people.

Oh, and there's a couple of massive robots from that Lego series about robots. I can't remember what it's called, but they look pretty stupid. :)

And, again, SORRY!

Absolutely. Man can not live by theme parks alone (but what a way to go!). Shopping and dining are great. You get the Disney atmosphere without the rides.

Yeah, but you can have lots of fun without going there. :)

I like going down there just to window shop... And eat at the Earl of Sandwich.

I think I'm drooling. :)

We always make time to stop in and do some shopping. In fact on the last trip, my wife suprised me by being able to smuggle home some bathroom purchases that have transformed our bathroom into a "Mickey Experience". She stated that it was the best investment ever... When I asked why she said, you seem happier in the morning, even those days when your going to work... I just chalk it up to that "Disney Magic"... :D

Very expensive, since it's a limited time offer. Lack of sleep and abundance of children have long since wiped away my ability to remember much of anything. :D
