I did that once by accident n an older camera by double exposing the same negative. Usually when I leave the exposure open longer I get the "blur" people. I would love to hear how imaginationcelebration achieved the "ghost" effect in that AK photo. Would love to repeat the next time I'm at the HM in the MK!

Cool pic, for sure! 8-)
I didn't even notice that until you pointed that out. That baby's going to eat our souls!

Either way I would love to do that with my own camera if it's possible. The effect is phenomenal.

I wonder if the "automatic red eye" reduction in photoshop would fix it on the ghost image - hmmmmm?

I'm sure it would. You'd have to tweak it a bit to make it look decent. Every time I use it it comes out funny.

Speaking of "ghost" images, how do y'all like the angel in the smoke in this one?

It doesn't always work well on humans, you're right. Never works on cats. Their eye flash aren't "red" like humans, so the software won't fix it.

I may have to Google some tutorials on red eye removal to make sure I get it precisely right.

With cats the illumination is from the back of the eye and natural.

I like it Mousekedude...it also kind of looks like Chernabog with his wings spread.
boilerbabe wrote:This might be a silly question, but how did you do that imagination?! That's an awesome photo!
Thank you Boilerbabe and all. It was a six second exposure with a flash burst at the end. The flash burst is what gives you the crisp ghost people effect. If you notice there is a person behind the tree in the background. He was out of reach of the flash and is a little blurred. Also the mist that you see next to the person in the background is actually the blur effect in action of the ghost people as they walked through the picture. If you look to the right of the first manhole you can see the two feet of the woman on the left. That happened because she stopped there for a second and moved on before the flash went off.

The picture was a four second exposure at an f-stop of f/4 on a Kodak Z970 digital camera.
My bad..I had a typo...it's a Kodak Z760, not a Z970.
