Post by yodiwan1 » Jan Sat 09, 2010 2:27 pm

Well, it's official! Feb. 24-28 I will be visiting WDW again!! My wedding anniversary is next weekend, and my wife and her twin's bday is Feb. 25th! We were orignally jsut going to get the 3 day FL resident pases, bt after seing the $99 for 4 days pass! We had to jump on it! An extra day and saving cash!!!! SIGN US UP!!!!! So far we are staying at the AS Music resort, going to DHS on their bday becasue it is the only day of the trip Fantasmic is showing, Epcot on Friday, with a late 4pm lunch at Garden Grill, Sat. Magic Kingdom, with an 8:15 breakfast at crystal palace, and the unexcpected 4th day will be at Animal Kingdom, and breakfast at Donald's Safari!!!! This is my sister-in-laws first trip there since she was 7, 19 years ago!!!! She is already going on extra walks everyday just to prepare for my whirlwind tour guiding, lol. I can't wait to share all my pics and adventures with everyone!!!!

It is a 4 day one park per day pass. It doesn't include a park hopper. And if I was you, I would be doing the same as your sister-in-law - get those extra walks in now to prepare yourself! Or your twins will run you into the ground! Have a great time! :mickey:

Have fun. It will be tough to do a park a day, but it has been done before. Also, it is a relatively slow time so the waits for attractions shouldn't be too bad. Good luck and I expect a detailed report on how the trip went.

Weather can be hit or miss at the end of Feb, but luckily it won't be like it is down in Orlando this weekend! I feel sorry for anyone doing Disney in the cold like this (read Future Guy's trip report - and it's colder this weekend than when he went!). I've been before at the end of Feb and had great weather! Good luck, yodiwan!

I'm sure y'all will have a great time! The weather should have normalized by then, and you'll just love it. Can't wait to see the pictures!

It's ESPN the weekend that week, so i am hoping the only park that may be crowded is DHS!! Hopefully Captain EO will be open too!!!

EO is at DLR, not WDW.

But yes, it is ESPN the weekend. I arrive at WDW the day before the OP leaves. :)

I will be down at WDW the 16th through the 23rd. I am hoping as well that it will not be so crazy crowded and that the weather will be decent. but anything is better than winter in New York! I hope your trip is great Yodiwan and walking now is a geat idea, something I had forgotten I should start doing!

EO is at DLR, not WDW.
Reports were that they were re-releasing ti at both, adn i was told that HISTA went under rehab for it last week...

At DLR, it did go into rehab last week. As far as I'm aware, HISTA is still operational at Epcot. Nothing has been announced about bring EO to Epcot, and the current rumour is just "late this year". Personally, I'm certainly not expecting EO to be there for my feb/mar trip to WDW.

As far as I am aware, EO is DLR, not EPCOT. With most capital expenditures planned for DHS and MK, there's not much left for EPCOT this year...
