It is absolutely my favorite Christmas movie too. So many lines in that movie. Must be extra special for you Boilers being in the Chicago area and being Blackhawks fans. Back when we had Flyers season tix (sorry) there was a guy a couple rows in front of us and at every December game he woud wear the "00" Blackhawks jersey with "Griswold" on the back. Was great.
Eddie, if I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet I wouldn't be any more surprised! - Clark W. Griswold
Just thought of something while wrapping Christmas gifts, I was always forced to use those right handed scisors since there was like 1 pair of left-handed ones for the whole classroom. No wonder why I could never cut a straight line!

Thanks, MmeLeota. I feel all warm and fuzzy now that everyone has accepted me.

Aha! That's cheating! Or is it a form of affirmative action?

Just kidding, big guy. I'm sure you were very good regardless.

No cheating, Mousekedude - baseball is one of the few sports that loves us southpaws!
Although, Boilerdude, I pegged you more as a football dude.

99Soulz, it's funny you mention the one left-handed scissors for each classroom in school - yep! That was so true when I grew up and was forced to use the right-hand scissors. And yes - I can't in a straight line either! I wonder if it's just a curse that all of lefties suffer?

I played some Football until the Baseball coach said "Your scholarship depends on Baseball, it would be a pity if you got hurt."
Even worse was the Lefty saftey scissors, they were horable. They couldn't cut dirt.

Aha, Boilerdude! Got the football right! And I agree, the lefty scissors did suck - it was one of those "darn if you, darn if you don't" situations back in school...
BTW the website automatically re-edits when you post the word d*mn into "darn"

Hahaha. I personally never used the lefty scissors in school. I figured out a way to make real scissors work properly with the left hand.
