There are many hm's in this banner. All of the larger snowflake tips are hm's and so isn't the really big snowflake behind "Mickey's" in the banner.

in doing some personal research on HMs I came across a very good site that to me accurately describes the history of HMs and what really consitutes an intentional Hm vs an unintentional HM the site is : http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/WhatIs.html
I also remember reading the Disney family Fun magazine years ago when it first came out and they used to have a section in the front where readers could submit photos of hidden mickeys they had found. often these photos were what we are now describing as UMs so it seems to me the Disney Co as publishers of this magazine did not have a problem with them and still titled this section of the magazine as "Hidden Mickeys" even though they weren't "true" HMs.

actually, IC, according to definition, the ones on the gates are "decor mickeys", or "deliberate mickeys"they are too big and too obvious dear, albeit just lovely to look at and give you that "i am at DW" feeling!
