We always get them too. They are nice for the trip and make great mugs once you get home. Every bit of Magic you can keep with you when you are away from "Home", the better!! :mickey3:

You don't have to buy that many drinks in WDW to pay for the cost of what the mug costs! And the FL water doesn't taste all that great!!! :P

I'd say it's definitely worth it. In addition to refilling it at the resort, I found it especially useful for "leftover" drinks from lunch and as a "free" water bottle. :)

You do realize Disney handles their own water distribution through the Reedy Creek Utilities, don't you? I've had no problems with water at Disney. :|

Now as for water outside of Disney - y'know, water in Florida - yeh, it does suck.

I did not know that mindflipper. To us it tastes funny. We have some good tasting water here, we have lake water. I guess it's all what you're used to though?! I didn't mean any offense.

I've noticed that some areas are better than others for water in Disney World. It's really nice to be able to grab some lemonade or pop at certain resorts!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I like the water at WDW. I also like Ft Myers City water.

the water here in west palm beach isn't bad. But we also pay extra in my town to make it taste the way it does

I wish they would go back to the resort specific mugs again instead of the general disney one. I wanted to collect one from every resort when we stay there. I don't want to buy them on ebay or something, but my goal was to stay at every resort and get one then. I guess that dream is gone. Shucks.

I also miss the resort specific mugs too. My DW still has a bunch of them, I like them a whole lot better then the one design fits all.

Also, I do not like the taste of the water at the resorts. The water tasted fine from the fountains at the parks. But for some reason it just did not taste great at the resort.

Which resorts? Was it one resort or multiple resorts?

I just wish that they would reinstate the non generic resort merchandise. It's a shame you can only get a dumb generalized piece of merch, centred only on the year's theming.
