Disneyland E3 Meet - Saturday, May 21st

Possible bad news guys, I think I've got heat stroke? or something? I'm not really sure, all I know is I feel like hell and I had to skip disneyland with happyfunball today. I'm still planning *crosses fingers* on coming tomorrow, but if I call it a short day, please don't be upset.

Being sick sucks.

I would not push your body if you have heatstroke. The last thing you need is to have your body go into shock. If that happens, being sick won't seem so bad. Good luck and get well soon. Drink your fluids.

oh, believe me, I'm good about my fluids. My doctor just put me on new medicines (within the last two weeks) and "forgot" to tell me to up my fluid intake and "oh, whoopsie! yeah, that thing where your arm went numb? yeah, I forgot about that too, that's another side effect."

Meanwhile! Like I said, I'm just gonna play it easy and maybe try to avoid the heat of the day if at all possible and still make most of the meetup.

Who is your doctor, Dr. Vinny Boom Batz? Can't believe he forgot to tell you to up your fluids and about possible side effects... Did you make the trip? Any good pics or new music for the site?

I made it to the park around 2, but unfortunately happyfunball couldn't hear his phone when we were at lunch in the Blue Bayou! So Subsonic's calls went unanswered.

Later, he accidentally forgot it in the hotel when we went back to the room to take a break and drink some water and enjoy a little down time in the A/C.

Happy and his friend made it to the meet, afaik, but I did not. Hopefully next time, sorry guys. <=( I feel like a flake.

What a bad turnout

Only Happyfunball (and friend), Aldo, and I were there. Shinku did show up, but after we split up to eat then we went back home to rest up. Bummer.

Because it was such a bad turnout I didn't bother having us all pose for pictures. I did take a picture of us on ToT and will post that. It looks bad.

What didn't occur to me until I woke up before the meet was that I should have put an advertisement in the stream about the meet. Oh well, next time.

That stinks. I would have love to have made it, but it would have meant another airline trip or a 7 hour drive. If you plan another one, I would hope it would be no sooner than mid-August. My third little one is due end of July.

We'll have another meet. I dont' know when though. Seems like a lot of people use this service but don't contribute by posting. I'm sure 100's of people haven't looked at this thread. Again, next time, I'll put advertisements in the stream.

But then again, if they aren't reading this thread, they aren't active posters. If they aren't active posters its safe to say they aren't requesting a lot, thus it wouldn't be too far fetched to say that they aren't die hard enthusiastic fans who would be up for meeting random diz-freaks irl.

I agree, a commericial would be beneficial (hell, I'll even produce it if you want), but I wouldn't rely on it to draw the crowds you're hoping for, Sub.

And yes, I am feeling better <3
