Wow.. that stinks, sooo sorry you had to to sell your DVC. Hopefully you've had a few offers on it already.

I have always wanted to know about DVC (the costs) but don't want to talk to a sales person, cause I KNOW I don't have the funds to do it and it would make me sad and I don't wanna waste their time.
Sharonofwindham, I am sorry that you have to sell yours  but at least you know you can get a Disney fix on here and with all our support :D we're here for ya!

That's terrible. I always wanted to get DVC but there's no way I can do that right now. I'm working on raising my income by education so that I can join the "club."

The way how I see it is, as long as you're still alive, you can change your circumstances. The possibility to rejoin DVC will come again. Just keep looking forward.

Oh, and the economy always have its ups and downs. Just hang in there!

There are several people in chat that have DVC. They are happy to answer any questions.

Just a thought, but renting a DVC for a week or so is probably much less expensive than owning :? . Here is one website with sections/threads that deal with this exclusively.

www.mouseowners.com

There are others (my wife does all the DVC correspondence  ) if you need more info regarding this.

I know I would be saddened to have to sell my DVC  , but knowing I could still rent (visit) might make it a slight bit more bearable :| .

I'll throw a coin into a Disney Wishing well for you (we are leaving tonight for the Tower of Terror race this weekend).

Happy landings.

We just got back from the Tower of Terror race. Your coin went into the Wishing Well beside Cinderella's castle on Friday (the 23rd) morning. :mickey:

It was a good coin, so expect good results :D

Thanks for tossing that coin  my DVC hasn't sold yet, not even a nibble :D and things are looking a little bit better on the financial front :o SO I OWE YOU ONE :figment: When I get back to WDW, hopefully in the near future, I will touch base on what your wishes may be and toss a shiny coin in the fountain for you! Much love to you and your family
