Yes it is very difficult to get in Cinderella's Royal Table (the Castle). You have to call 90 days in advance. And on that day be ready to dial one minute before 7am. (The recordings take a minute or more) If you call too early, you will get a recording telling you call back during operating hours and you won't be able to get a jump on everybody else. The second you get a cast member say Cinderella's Royal Table, the time and day you want. Don't hesitate, because @ 7:05am it is sold out.

Sad but true. Quite a bummer for those families not "in the know" when they travel to WDW. However, the restaurant now offers a character lunch and I don't know how that's affecting the breakfast bookings. Anyone try the lunch yet or try booking since the lunch began?ericpabear wrote:Yes it is very difficult to get in Cinderella's Royal Table (the Castle). You have to call 90 days in advance. yes, the food items offered and the ambiance. It is a lovely place to sit and eat, and I think their offerings are the best, particularly that breakfast lasagne. It is too much to fix at home, but I love to eat it there.Siriuslydead wrote:So you just like it because of the breakfast itself?jkm8113 wrote:Crystal Palace is my favorite breakfast, although the Pooh characters are not the reason.

I would highly recomend Donald's Prehistoric Breakfastosaurus.
We ate there last year with my wives' cousin. It was cool and the food was good.

My wife and I had our first Character breakfeast a few years ago. Our friends worked for Disney Reservations and we were lucky to get into the impossible Cinderella's Castle.
I have to say, it was STUNNING upstairs in the caste. The atmosphere is great, and the characters were really friendly and constantly came by our table for pictures and just to talk for a second or two. I have to admit, I fell in love with the girl playing Jasmine, and the girl playing Belle. My wife thought it was funny. I was like a kid with a crush.
I really enjoyed the breakfeast, but I have to say, I didn't think the food was that great. Just my opinion, but the eggs were runny and that's the only thing of the meal I remember, which can't be good.

were going in july and never been to the chef Mickys before but I hear a lot of people talking about. Is it that good??? on another note we've there many time and we usually go to the restaurantasaurus in the animal Kingdom, though the food has always been good and the characters are always on hand, my wife and I were very irritated the last time we were there. When you go up to tell them your reservation they mark it off and say have your picture taken over on the side, no biggy, normally you get your pictures taken and go look at them before you purchace them. This time we had our three year get his picture taken and half way through breakfast they brought out a complete package of pictures and keychanes etc. We didnt ask them to be printed they did it automatically. I'm not saying this bad or anything but they put you the spot to buy the package, you can refuse you dont have to buy them, maybe we wanted a set from another park, but then we were thinking what were they gonna do with pictuers, a cast member said they would prob. be destroyed but no guarantee for all we know they could use them in some sort of advertisement at another park or in different country. I didnt want my 3yr old somewhere I didn't know about.we felt kind of obligated to buy them. I dont know if anyone else has had this experience or feel the same way but I would be curious of comments. thanks

my guess would be that they may use the pictures in promotional pictures or maybe in the photo collages that they have (like they're using for the 50th at DLR).
as far as Chef Mickey's, never tried there, but from the sounds of it, it's where I'm going on my next trip.
